The colors of the actual item where much different from what was shown online. What looks like light blue turned out to be purple, and the dominant color turned out to be a seafoam green, that I didn't even see in the picture. Great pattern, but UGLY colors. I am returning mine.

The colors are WAY different when seeing it in person compared to the online picture you see. I sent mine back and it cost me $20 to ship it back.

I bought this based on the other good reviews of the Echo comforters, and I chose this one to mask kid prints. When the comforter arrived, however, I was disappointed with the colors. It contains seafoam green and lavander, which weren't how the colors looked at all in the picture. But, it grew on me after looking at it for a couple of days, and looks much better on the bed. It is very comfortable and I feel a pretty good value in spite of the color discrepancy.

As with all bedding, when purchased, we wash it before use. This particular comforter tore right out of the washer. Before the first use. I would definately tell people to avoid this product, maybe this entire line of products. So needless to say, my sewing skills were used once again and my daughter will have to sleep on this Frankenstein Comforter for a couple of years.

I bought the 7 piece ensemble, plus the 2 additional throw pillows. The colors are fantastic!! The sheets will never be used!! Not only do they NOT match, they are horrible quality (I'm a high thread count sheet snob). The fitted sheet is some random shade of light sage...which matches NOTHING in the package. The top sheet is cream color with a top trim. I do love the shams...which DO match the crazy color pattern. I was hoping I would get more colorful sheets, so I could make curtains, or dust ruffle. But I do love the comforter colors. I used comforter as a color splash on a mirco suede covered down comforter....in layers. I also bought micro suede curtains in chocolate...it's a great (cheap) way to color up a room. There was also NO weird smell in the comforter either...which I had read in other reviews.

My 11 year old son picked this out, and he loves it! As others have said, the blue and green colors aren't exactly like the picture, but they are really cool. The light blue is almost purple, and the green is more of a greenish-yellow. I noticed, but he didn't, and that's all that matters. When I first received it I immediately washed the sheets. When they were dry, I went to make the bed. As soon as I put the comforter on the bed, I saw what looked like blue ballpoint pen scribbles in two different places, and they were noticeable. Because I had washed the sheets, I was unsure of what could be done. I got online and chatted with one of the online reps. This is a set, and I just wanted to exchange out the comforter for the exact same one. I explained that I wasn't expecting a whole new set, and I would be more than happy to send back the original comforter. The rep said our conversation would have to be forwarded on to someone higher up, and they would be contacting me within a few days. Well, 4 days later I came home to find a brand new comforter at my doorstep, no questions asked. They have not even asked for the damaged one back. I am overjoyed with the customer service I received. I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Thank you, Overstock!

I loved the colors and modern look. The only thing is I wish the set came with was a bed skirt.

My guest enjoy the comforter alot. I am always getting complements on how unique it is. The only problem was I was expecting more of a lime green color in the patteren and it is much more of a mint color. All and all I still enjoy having it!

I bought this set for the colors. The comforter is amazing, very thick and plush. The coordinating sheets, shams and pillow cases are elegant and eye-catching. I love this set.

exactely what I was expecting in terms of colors and fabric so this product met my expectations. The cotton is soft and comfortable and the colors are bright but not overpowering. Size I ordered (queen) fits my mattress perfectly. The only disappoinment was the fact that the pillow covers do not close, neither with buttons nor snaps, so if you toss at night, expect your pillow to escape its case ... will add velcros myself to the pillow stays in its place.

Love love love this set. The colors are very vibrant and true to the picture. I bought a queen size - the shams seemed to be standard while the pillow cases worked for the queen size. No bed skirt included but found a nice pleated skirt without spending much extra. Did have to iron the pillow cases, but not really a big deal and I did not have a problem with smell as others reported. Looks like I spent a fortune on a designer bedset. I would highly recommend - This has made my guest room the favorite room in the house. Overstock shipped quickly as usual.

This item had a very unpleasant odor when taken out of the bag. It had to be laundered twice to get the odor out completely. Fabric wrinkles very easily, much more than I would expect for the price paid.

Same look as shown on this website. Very comfortable and it's worth the price.

I ordered the bedroom set because I loved the colors and the modern/retro look of the ensemble. When the set arrived, the colors are exactly as they appear on the computer; however, my husband and I both agreed that it looked a little cheap. The fabric is consistent with what you may buy at a large super-retailer. On the other hand, this set may work for a teenager or college student. It's a very fun print. One thing to note though: If you're design-conscious, this set will only work with contemporary bedroom furniture or in a modern/retro type of room. Our bedroom furniture was not modern or retro, and even if the fabric would have been really nice, it wouldn't have worked. If your bedroom furniture is country, traditional, or tuscan in design, this set will look silly. In addition, it does not come with a bedskirt, which is a negative and the sheets are not impressive at all. All in all, if your teenager or college student wants a fun print or you have a retro guest bedroom, then it might work, but the fabric still looks a little cheap.

I love my new set! However, a Bedskirt to complete the set would've been a nice touch.

I recived the set and the colors were totally different from the picture on Overstock. The blue is purple and the greee is olive. The colors don't match each other at all the clash.

This cover served as a bedcover for number of years. It was attractive and comfortable.

This bedding set is awesome! It's tough for a twentysomething man to find bedding that is interesting but not feminine, but Lava Lounge definitely fits that description. The design is funky and retro in just the right ways, and the colors are perfect. The comforter is a great weight, too. It definitely keeps me warm, bu it's not heavy enough to make me wake up sweating. I'm really happy with my purchase and couldn't recommend the set more highly.
