You'd be hard pressed to find a bedding set with a duvet cover, two shams and three decorative pillows for this price. The decorative pillows are gorgeous. It's only 200 thread count so it makes for basic, casual bedding. The colors are a not as muted as the picture seems (blue is a little brighter in real life). I bought a basic white comforter in addition to this and it fit inside the duvet cover just fine. I definitely recommend a duvet cover set instead of purchasing the regular comforter or quilt set. You can customize how warm or heavy you want it to be by purchasing separate white comforters to put inside of it. It is an extra cost to do this but you can fill it according to the season. It's also easier to put a duvet cover in a washing machine than stuffing a whole comforter in there.

Obviously, taste is subjective, but if you're considering this then you must be somewhat drawn to it. Be confident that the print is well-executed (sometimes these prints look cheesy or cheap in person - not the case here) and this looks really nice. As others note, be aware that it is a dove-grey pulling towards taupe. It is definitively not white. Birds are a subdued orange, but orange enough to pop. My biggest concern was the material, with a low thread count and "rayon." We sleep without flat sheets directly under the duvet cover and a touchable, breathable fabric is essential. I loathe synthetic fabrics and typically find them extremely uncomfortable and unbreathable, particularly in the intimate nature of a bed linen. However, I am ecstatic with our choice here; the material is soft and comfortable and breathes as well, perhaps even better, than the high thread-count cottons that are more typical in our bedroom. This is immediately my favorite duvet cover. We've weathered our first few washes well; time will tell what the future holds but I am very happy thus far. Buy knowing that this is soft and comfortable and that the print looks great in person.

Very good quality cotton duvet cover set. Our down comfortable fits perfectly & does not move around. The color is accurate from the pictures. It is very soft & pleasant to sleep under.

300 thread count is OK, but I'm spoiled by a higher count. Nice thing about the duvet is I use a flat sheet under it and can use my higher count sheets under it.

As other reviewers indicate, the coloring on this set is light blue (not periwinkle) and bright white (not off white). Very cute in a pair on the two twin beds in our guest room. The material isn't overly scratchy or cheap, but it does require ironing after being laundered; it's just a litter heavier (200 thread count?) as opposed to a higher thread count or sateen finish. Still very graphic, modern, and cute.

I bought this to protect my very expensive comforter when we got 2 very rambunctious kittens who were shredding every cloth item in the house. I generally don't like to use a duvet cover because they tend to shift around and the materials tend to be too thin, but this one is really sturdy. I haven't washed it yet but I did wash the pillow covers and they neither shrunk nor wrinkled excessively (though I did iron them). I expect to have to iron the duvet cover, which might not suit everyone, especially the ironing-impaired. I am very pleased with this product.

I bought the white duvet and I read most of the reviews. It does wrinkle but remember it's cotton and cotton always wrinkles. I did not use the shams because I have a quilt on top of the duvet. The shams wrinkle the most so I used my quilt shams. It's soft and fit my thin comforter perfectly. I'm happy with it. But I would not use it as a top cover it works better under a quilt. Works for me.

This duvet cover really is beautiful. I wasn't sure how much I'd like the texture of percale but this is lightweight and soft and feels high quality. There are ties on the inside corners to secure it to your duvet, and the colors are just gorgeous. Glad I went for this one!

This duvet cover and pillow case set is awesome. Totally true to color, one wash and they are soft and comfortable. I never buy under 500 thread count, but these are great! We love this new set.
A duvet cover can protect your comforter from dust, spills, and other dirt, but sometimes getting it on and keeping it in place can be tricky. If you've ever fought to get one onto the duvet or struggled to keep your duvet from slipping around in its cover, then you'll want to follow these tips for securing duvet covers . Keep Your Duvet in Place: Shop Duvet Covers ▸ Launder and dry the duvet cover. Take your freshly laundered duvet cover out of the dryer as soon as it's dry. Hold it by the corners and give it a few brisk shakes. This helps keep it from wrinkling. Read More
