The paisley side is GORGEOUS, (got it in black) the feel of the fabric is uttterly dreamy--if a tad thin. BUT I'm not sure I would have bought this if it had been made clearer in the photo (which is to say I didn't even catch it, it was *that* subtle, and also no mention of the reverse pattern in the item description) that the reverse side is a very, very traditional pinstripe that doesn't offer a fun contrast, but rather utterly clashes with the paisley. I'm keeping it only because it is such a great deal, and the silkiness of the fabric, but I would encourage Overstock to make the reverse pattern much clearer in their photo and description.

This duvet met my needs because all I wanted was a plain white duvet cover for a "second" lite weight comforter that I sometimes "layer" with my "main" comforter. It is a "pure" white. The shams are traditional shams. Plain NOT fancy. Wrinkles some but not unsightly. Fair price for what you get.

Nice looking for the price. Bought one like this before and wanted another one to change out since my dogs love to sleep in bed with me. Haven't washed this one yet but the other washes well and I can put it on the duvet right out of the dryer without ironing.

This duvet set is happy and modern while retaining a level of traditional sophistication. I love the traditional paisley combined with a hip yellow. The yellow is bright, but not the typical yellow. I would call it more of a chartreuse and the blue is more of a blue gray. The reverse side is fun to turn down for that extra pop of color as shown in the picture. My husband really likes it too. It is a nice combination that is not to feminine or masculine. It is a cotton duvet, which means it will wrinkle, but after washing it I haven't needed to iron it as long as I promptly remove it from the dryer. I love this set and would buy it again in a minute. My only complaint is it is a little short. I definitely recommend ordering one size up, but other than that ENJOY!

Soft, cotton finish with substance, and a great design that perks up a more traditional bedding set. Great value for the money.

I'm redecorating a room in black and white, and loved this pattern. The online description says, "This microfiber duvet cover set features a rich black color with white accents in a traditional Jacobean pattern," but the background color is not white at all. The packing slip listed the item as black/ivory, but when I put it next to two different sets of ivory sheets I had, it didn't match those either. The color is somewhere between ivory and pale gray. I returned the set because it didn't match any of my white or ivory sheets.

I really like this duvet cover. It's really soft and looks great on my bed! The only thing is that it says not to bleach which is kind of annoying since I got white because I thought it would be easier to clean. Other than that, it's perfect! I also love the little trim around the side since it adds a very subtle traditional look. I use this duvet for the queen/full Oversize 230 Thread Count Down Alternative Comforter I also bought on Overstock and it's a perfect fit.

I bought the persimmon orange and it is just lovely. It really is more along the lines of persimmon than traditional orange. The fabric is soft and light and fits my comforter perfectly. I was redesigning my bedroom with an Indian theme in mind and this duvet is just perfect! The material is quite thin, so I would not recommend using it with anything other than a white comforter, but it has held up well in the wash and on the bed.

This is a beautiful comforter set. Traditional and sophisticated. The fabric is soft and luxurious.

I like the simple design. I've been looking for a new duvet set for awhile, did't want anything too trendy or traditional, like nature but not floral designs. Material is a bit thin, but that makes it light and airy for summer. I prefer this style of sham, without any flanges. The only problem was a couple of dust stains (from the factory or during packaging?), one of which I caught and spot cleaned before laundering and prevented from setting, the other which I didn't. I will need to see if it washes out with the next laundering. Overall a nice simple design without being too traditional or feminine. It is a silvery grey, with a touch of sage or dusty blue.

Love this duvet, it has a beautiful color and feels silky. I was hesitant to buy it because I was afraid it would snag as my husband allows the dogs on the bed but so far it has held up very nicely. I also like the fact that I can pop it in the washer. It looks modern and traditional at the same time and looks awesome with cherry furniture. I'm happy is picked this one!

This did not work for me mainly because of the colors. The browns were not as rich as I had hoped; instead they were a cafe au lait and on a few pieces, almost plum. In addition, the print was a little too modern for my traditional bedroom.

This is a nice duvert cover. At the opening it has buttons every six inches, which I like alot because the comforter stays in the cover. Most inexpensive duvet covers have only three buttons, one in the middle and another at each end. I bought the twin size. It is slightly larger than a traditional twin, but all the twin duvet covers I buy are larger. Maybe the traditional size isn't really made anymore. The fabric is thinner than I expected but is nonetheless durable because it has stood up to my five pets - three cats and two dogs - jumping on and off it and it hasn't ripped or torn.

Warning: This set is mostly dark navy blue, not black like it looks in the picture! I guess I'm most frustrated by the color. The front flower pattern is pretty, but nothing special. The reverse is actually rather cute with a little daisy pattern. It looks very contemporary in the picture, but it's really much more girlie and country in real life. The duvet isn't very soft and the fabric is thin. Not a good choice if you want to use it to cover a patterned or dark comforter instead of a traditional white down duvet.

Like some other reviewers, I was kind of creeped out at first by the stamped diagonal squares rather than a traditional gingham weave. Felt it was too much trouble to return, and since my cat sleeps on it all day I figured I could use an inexpensive cover. I was surprised to find how much I liked it after it was washed and on the bed. It's soft, not all wrinkly out of the dryer, and I really really like it. I'm considering ordering another for back up if the cat rips it up. Would definitely recommend it based on quality for the price. Also my husband prefers it to the more girly covers I have. It's less neutering than a floral print.

The comforter cover feels and looks good, but we were disappointed with the color. We ordered beige, but the color had a pinkish hue to it. We expected the traditional brownish beige which this was not.

Okay, so I'm not a huge fan of paisley, but this is beautiful and non-traditional. I got the black and white, and the quality of the print, the over all look, and the feel of the cover is very, very nice.

This duvet cover set was a fine product but it was not what I expected. I ended up returning it. It was much shinier than I'd expected. Also, I ordered the ivory thinking it would be the traditional off-white color. Ivory here is actually a light yellow. If you are looking for light yellow, then the ivory would be perfect. It's a good product, just not what I wanted.

I was looking for something bright but with enough color/pattern to not show marks (3 young kids get marks on everything). So far this is working well. It's also great that's it's a duvet so when it does occur it will be easier to wash than a traditional comforter.

I was looking for a new duvet cover and actually had another one all picked out and ordered but canceled b/c I just couldn't resist this one! I am a sucker for prints that look like mens suits or shirts - simple but detailed design. This had a "Tie" look to me. I love the diagonal stripe and the lovely cream color small lines design that run vertical and horizontal over top that really ads a sophisticated touch. It's a look that can be very versatile. I actually have it in our master bedroom that is classic traditional style - on a ornate sleigh bed and we love it! It obviously would be great with sleek modern, or even a beach look. Another reason I love this pattern is because I have a darling little beagle that snuggles with us at night and when she sheds its barley noticeable b/c it blends in! BUT it also comes off very nicely b/c the duvet is so smooth! It is great quality material and washes very nice.(of coarse not wrinkle free but its not bad!) It fits my king down comforter and king pillows wonderfully. I spray it with a scotch guard fabric protector so it will look great for a long time! The coloring is spot on from what I saw online. I wasn't matching it to anything but was sooo excited that it was! I smile every time I walk into the room and see it! It has such a relaxing feel to it yet brings an energy that I love. I have the mocha one, the other colors look great too!

Our style tends to be more traditional. We have been wanting to try a more contemporary look and this duvet really fits the bill. It is the perfect mix of contemporary and casual and looks great in our guestroom. The colors are beautiful and the fabric is quality. It is a little on the smaller side which I read in one other review, so if you are putting it on a larger or raised bed, either order on size larger or make sure you order a bedskirt. We used it on our platform bed, which I HIGHLY recommend it for. The price definately makes this a value you shouldn't pass up! It also has a nice contrasting back of black/white floral that looks lovely when folded down on the larger print. We are very happy with our purchase and are avid Overstock fans!
