I always worry when I buy anything sight-unseen over the internet. I read all the reviews, and mull it over before deciding to jump in and pay for something I can't touch beforehand. This duvet cover is MARVELOUS! High thread count, silky soft feel, yet substantial. excellent construction. It is a true grey-ish green "sage" color, not too yellow-ish, or blue- ish, not too Kelly green-ish. Perfect grey/ green. aka "sage ". I changed my bedroom from cluttered/busy to ZEN. The walls are 2 shades of sage, the furniture is dark walnut and mahogany, and the duvet cover ties it all together. ( much like The Dude's rug....). I also LOVE that it is reversible to sage stripes, in case I need a jolt of excitement . I ordered a king size, as my queen bed sits very high off the ground, with thick mattresses. The side drops are perfect...cover the sheets and bed rails. Unfortunately, king duvets also come with king shams. BUT the straight forward sham design made it very easy to cut them down and resew ONE seam to turn them into standard size. I've been sleeping like a baby under my down comforter/duvet cover, with a new 4" memory foam pad on top of the mattress. aaahhhhh bliss.

Love the colour of this duvet set for our guest bedroom, a very pretty soft mint. I was a little reluctant to buy it after a lot of reviews said it was so wrinkly after washing and needed ironing. I did give it a quick press as I like my sheets and covers to be wrinkle free anyway but it didn't require a lot of effort like some do. Very soft and comfortable to the touch and the pattern adds nice subtle detail. My only criticism is the closure on the back of the shams. They split open and don't meet closed if you have puffy pillows (ours are standard medium firm and look like they're busting out).

First, the good news. This duvet cover feels like silk and came out of the laundry wrinkle-free, but I did make sure to pull it from the dryer as soon as the cycle finished. Now, the strangeness: - I have used duvets for years, so I know how they're supposed to fit on my king bed: a big wider than they are long for even overlap on both sides and the foot of the bed. And the duvet cover is supposed to button at the bottom. This duvet cover is built "sideways" - that is, in order to fit the duvet itself properly, the cover's buttons have to be on one side of the bed, not at the bottom. This "buttons along the narrower edge" design works fine for twin, standard and queen size mattresses, but not for king. So it loses one star for that defect. - The color is a darker and duller green than the "sage" shown. Fortunately, I have pretty pillows to perk it up. It's too bad that this cover doesn't come with matching pillow shams! Subtract one more star for color. Bottom line: I'm keeping it because it feels so wonderful and, being from bamboo, will likely last through many washings.

I recently received my King Duvet Cover in Mineral Blue and must say that the color is exactly like the picture, which is excellent. I washed the set before putting it on the bed and found it to be extremely wrinkly staight out of the dryer - it kind of annoyed me that I would have to iron the cover, since previous covers I have had have come out of the dryer just fine. Another comment is that the shams are only standard, which is odd considering the cover I purchased is a king. The shipping took 3 weeks, which is much too long in comparison to other vendors. Overall it's an ok duvet cover for the price, but I Iike it mostly for the color.

I'm comparing this to a duvet cover (same thread count) that I bought at Bed Bath and Beyond for about twice the price. This one has some nice little stitching detail around the edge plus came with two pillow shams, so definately more for your money. The fabric is nice and soft and my only complaint is that it does not have ties in the corners to hold the comforter in place, however the comforter seems to stay put, so maybe the ties are not necessary when the fit is snug. I didn't want to spend a ton of money because I am only trying to protect my down comforter from sweat stains and I have a coverlet that goes on top of it. It's pretty plain, but that's what I was looking for, and I wouldn't be able to make it for less, so I'm happy with it. The feel of the fabric is important to me and this duvet cover met my standards!

I wanted something a bit less expensive, but didn't want to give up on quality. I have two big dogs that sleep in this bed also so I knew I'd be putting it in the laundry a bit more than others. I'm pleasantly surprised by the high quality feel and look of only being a 300tc. The sateen finish looks very nice and the dogs have not snagged their nails on it. It says it reversible, but I'm not sure what they mean by that...Maybe because one side is the striped and the other solid. I put this on a new queen size down comforter, there is a lot of extra fabric. The full/queen would by far be a great fit for a king size comforter. There are no tie downs on this duvet cover but its still fairly easy to put on and the button closures are very secure. The pillow covers are not the standard size, they are the square euro style.

This looked great. I have seen reviews that state standard queens do not fit the newer pillow-top beds. This is true. You will want to order a king sized comforter and duvet cover. I don't know why anyone would say that the cover does not fit the king size comforters. Mine fits perfectly. If you look at the descriptions of the covers and comforters the dimensions are the same. Overall I am very happy. The color was rich and warm. I purchased the taupe and thought it would be too dark. It wasn't. The stripes are very subtle. But you can still see them.

The Duvet Cover provides the sumptuous, elegant feel and appearance I wanted. The sage color has more of a bluish hue than the green sage I expected; however, it worrks with my decor anyway. The seams are well sewn and the shams are attractive. I opted for a king size duvet cover to fit a large comforter even though I have a queen size bed. This works great for additional hang on the sides and additional warmth. I was pleased that the shams were standard size.

This duvet cover is soft and pretty, however the background is not white or even beige. It is a taupe color. So if you are okay with that, then this duvet is for you. Also, I would never use the two extra accent pillow covers that come with the set. They are extremely cheap looking and very thin. The duvet itself and two standard size pillow shams are much better quality than the accent pillows. Will be returning.

I bought the king size duvet in gold. The price was great for a king duvet cover. I love the gold, I am usually pretty bland but this has a lot of color and it is nice. The material is very nice. The only complaint I have is that there is nothing inside the duvet to attach my insert to, so it bunches a moves around a little. The shams are huge king size so they look good on a king size bed. The colors are not really standard and the pattern is busy so I got khaki colored sheets to tone it down a little and they look good with it. I think gold, sage, cream, taupe sheets would look good with it also.

I have already recommended this duvet set to several friends! The colors are vibrant and exactly as per the photo; the fabric is incredible - much higher quality than I expected. The zippers on the shams and duvet cover seem very durable. And the matching pillows are also beautiful. I bought another comforter about 8 months ago and my cats destroyed it in about 2 weeks. Not a single pull on this one in what is now almost 2 months. I bought a navy dust ruffle to go with it and teal sheets. My bedroom looks like it was professionally decorated! The shams were a little roomy for standard sized pillows, so I overstuffed with king sized pillows. Overall, this was an excellent buy with fabric by SIS Covers - a wholesale company that I now know to search for. If you only knew how picky I can be! This product is a breath of fresh air!

I love my duvet cover. I have the white/brown stripe set. It arrived so quickly and it is very soft. It fit my old standard queen comforter great. It was so affordable for a quick fix to an old bedroom!

This duvet cover was exactly as advertised. Very simple design, very soft and the fit was exactly what I expected from a standard Queen duvet cover. The price was good too.

This is the first time I've purchased from overstock.com so I didn't know what kind of quality to expect. I'm happy with this duvet set - the color and design are beautiful. The fabric is a little thin so I'm not sure how well it will wear but for right now (after using it for about a month), I'm very happy with it. It is a little small for a standard queen.

The Duvet cover is a very delicate and a soothing color and print - it is thin so it does not add extra weight which is good for us since the down comforter is quite thick. There is nothing inside the duvet to attach to the comforter but it doesn't seem to slip. The shams are too small for a standard pillow -

This is a no-brainer, order it and you will love it! The sateen weave really helps make it soft which is very important to me. I showed the pictures online to my fiancÚ who thought it was "femmy" but I went ahead and ordered it. I figured the reverse more masculine pin stripe would be a compromise but he loved it. It definitely makes a statement and looks very expensive/designer. As other people have noted, it's on a cream base, not white. The duvet cover has button closures and the pillow shams which looked huge at first fit a standard pillow. They tend to gape but it's on the back so it doesn't matter. Overall, really happy with this purchase!

I bought the WHITE duvet cover. For the price the cover is acceptable. The fabric seems a little thin and the pillow shams are standard. I also purchased a throw and throw pillows to spice it up a bit. I used this set in an extra bedroom which is fine however if I needed something for the master then I would buy something more upscale.

Love this Duvet! That being said.... I was looking for a King size because I like my comforters to hang lower on the sides and this Duvet said it came with 'standard' shams. IT DID NOT. Came with king, which does not fit my Queen size bed. A little disappointed. Will have to do some alterations. Other than that, very soft and comfy. Bring on the cooler weather!

The cover for my quilt is finr but I have a king size quilt and 2 king size pillows, and I got two standard pillow cover instead of two king size pillow covers. What is up with that?

It's attractive, but is much too large for a Standard/Queen duvet, as it was described. I haven't washed it yet, and I hope it does not need ironing....

I recently went shopping for a new duvet cover, but was disappointed to find that most places carried a very limited selection, including Bed, Bath, and Beyond. The duvet covers they did offer were out of my budget (most over $140). I decided to check Overstock and found a great selection of duvet covers that were inexpensive. This duvet cover is very simple, so if you are looking for a lavish cover then this won't meet your standards. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase, especially considering the price.

If the label of a down comforter reads 100 percent down, the comforter must contain down feathers exclusively. The same is true if the label reads pure down or all down. Most down comforters are made with goose down, but some may include down feathers from other species of fowl. Look below to learn how to buy a down comforter.
