  • Peaceful birds for a peaceful night

Love the design---the fact that it has buttons for closure rather than snaps. It was also a lot easier to put on than our previous one from IKEA. I would struggle with the old one but this one goes on much easier. It's also beautiful. The only thing was that it was quite toxically smelly (like industrial plastic) when I opened it. I suppose washing is a good idea anyhow, but this really has to be washed or you'll be sleeping in a toxic zone.

  • SUPER Bright white!

So, I actually bought this just to "cover" the australian wool comforter I purchased. I was then going to put my quilted coverlet over it for "style." It looks such like a sheet. But, i think it is nice and soft, and the white is really bright. Since the comforter is SO WARM, and I get overheated even with the window open in 40 degree weather, I decided to forgo the coverlet on top for a white. The wrinkles have smoothed out, and my comforter stays in the corners (even though there isn't anything actually holding them there)...but, we aren't really "rough" sleepers, and I make my bed everyday, so that helps keep it neat. It's not super stylish, but it gives a nice, clean plain look, which I like. It allows me to change out the decorative pillows. Plus, for the inexpensive price, I can easily afford another one to change out for laundering and such. For what I wanted, I was pleased with the quality for the cost. I don't expect Ritz quality when I stay at at Super 8 - your exp...

  • attractive but bold

This is a nice pattern but seems bolder than I anticipated. The pattern is pretty, the fabric is fine. But it was too loud for my guestroom. I have no idea how it would hold up once washed and placed on the bed. I returned it unopened.

Although the design is nice and matches nicely with my bedroom, the overall quality leaves a little bit something to be desired. I'm no expert in thread count but my previous sheets which weren't very expensive feel much softer than these. The pillowcases feel a bit scratchy to my face after lying there a few seconds but not so much so that I'm not able to fall asleep, although I'm a very easy and deep sleeper. Not really worth trying to repackage and ship back as I like the design so I'm going to keep them but I expected more quality and comfort from the 600 thread count and price point. After one wash the fabric loses a bit of its shine but is still okay.

I wasn't expecting this to be great, but it is really soft. More like a high thread count product than a microfiber product. I'm anxious to see how well it holds up.
