I expected something much softer being that it is 1000 thread count.

Heavy, soft and rich color duvet cover. Washes beautiful. I like the size. Fits our oversized down comforter. I ordered the matching bedding, also. Look forward to getting into bed every night, surrounded by this beautiful material.

I found this duvet to be difficult to put over my comforter. It was like a low thread count sheet. It came out of the dryer very wrinkled and I struggled to iron such a huge piece of fabric. It is on the bed, but I am not looking forward to the next washing and replacing.

This duvet cover is very reasonably priced for the quality. The fabric has a nice sheen and good thread count. Color is vivid (I got dark blue) and fit over standard duvet is just right.,

The cal. King doesn't ever cover the mattress. A duvet cover should hang over like a comforter. Thread count is fair so it pills up quickly after only a few washes. Average quality.

I purchased this Duvet cover recently & really LOVE it! We only sleep on 1000 -1500 thread count sheets from Overstock & having a great quality high thread count Duvet cover just completes the feeling of sleeping in Luxury. As usual, the quality of this Duvet, as most everything from Overstock, is great & only a fraction of the cost that you'd pay in a Department store. Yes, it does get a little wrinkly after washing but not that much more than lower thread count sheets & duvet covers. The duvet cover is big, so it should be washed & dried on its own & taken out as soon as it's dried to avoid further wrinkling. The thick quality is so crisp & luxurious that it's a real treat getting into bed every night. We don't find the high thread count hot like some have said, rather its a cool & crisp feeling. It is quite thick but not stiff & does soften up even more over time after several washings. If you appreciate thick high quality sheets, you'll love this.

This Damask 600 Thread Count Duvet Cover Set is a high end quality set. I purchased the tan and it washes and wears beautifully plus it is easy to put on and off. I would recommend this cover to family and friends. I am using this over a medium weight feather conforter which is a queen size. I did purchase the king size duvet which was recommended by another customer and it fits my oversize queen comforter perfectly.

The 1000 thread count is substantial and super soft - the platinum color will go with a lot of my sheets and has a wonderful sheen (not shiny) just a glow about it - excellent quality and the price was great! Thanks Overstock

Note the use of polyester in the product. Makes it not as soft as one would hope for from a 1000 Thread Count product. Still a decent cover, and it has a nice weight to it.

Heavy, high-quality, durable fabric; great value for the money. The dye is lovely and matches Overstock's swatches (I purchased the platinum). Not decadently soft by any means, but hopefully that will improve after a few more washes. I didn't notice significant shrinking, however it does wrinkle terribly. Overall, I am pleased and would recommend this product.

I am just a little disappointed in this item because the material is not as thick as the 1000 thread count sheets I have purchased from Overstock. That being said, the color is very rich, the feel and look is very luxurious. It launders well. Had my expectations not been raised by the previous purchase my comments would be 100% positive. As always, shipping is on time.

This duvet cover is a great value, and of good quality. The weight of the cotton and the high-ish thread count make for a very soft sateen weave, which is great to sleep under. The quality of the stitching is not amazing, and there are little threads peeking out all over, so we'll see how the product holds up over the long haul. The light blue cover is lovely.

I've orderd 4 of these sets now, 2 for daughters rooms, and 2 for guests rooms - they are a terrific value. They fit over the down comforters very nicely - the buttons remain closed at the top to keep the comforters from poking out. The color is a nice crisp white - not dull or yellowish. The thread count is 205 - so if you are looking for a high thread count this isn't - but they are 100% cotton and have a nice appearance and a good feel. I would definitely recommend.

This duvet cover is great! It's soft and the fabric is thick and durable yet very soft. The ivory color is a tad bit darker than I thought but it's a nice color and has a nice slight sheen overall. It's a great look for a romantic yet modern/clean bedroom.

It always seems risky to not be able to feel and see a product before you order, but with the return policy I chose to chance it. The fabric is very nice, right size. Buttonholes look like a beginning seamstress. I ordered the ivory and what arrived is more a soft gold. It works, but was a bit of surprize! That would be my only caution--the color may fool you.I'm gaining more confidence in ordering from Overstock. Customer Service has gone the extra mile to make things right when they were not. Thanks.

Fantastic quality! This is my second purchase of the same quality duvet cover because my other one lasted 7 yrs after weekly washings. I purchased another one only because I changed the color of my walls, not because the other one didn't last. Advice- This is a duvet that must be taken out of the dryer and put on immediately and sometimes ironed to get the wrinkles out if you desire a flawless duvet look. I ended up purchasing 2 more for my guest rooms as well.

Great quality. Only complaint is that I ordered the burgundy which appears red. I was expecting a darker color.
