I have been looking for the perfect duvet cover, and this is it. The fabric is cotton percale, which means it is very smooth and cool to the touch. The thread count is high enough that it won't fall apart, but low enough that it doesn't feel heavy. It fits my king comforter and bed perfectly, and the buttons are at the bottom where they should be. The edges have a little extra fabric, which is a nice detail and adds strength. I washed and dried this item before using it and it held up well, without wrinkling too badly. I realize now, after purchasing the, Egyptian Cotton 300 Thread Count Solid Sateen Finish Solid 3-piece Duvet Set, that I much prefer percale to sateen. Sateen feels more like flannel, so it's not good for SoCal summers. Percale is still soft, but is so much more crisp and cool to the touch. I kept the sateen duvet because it's nice looking and I figure I'll use it in the winter, but the Cotton Percale 400 Thread Count 3-piece Duvet Cover Set is so, so much better, and a...

I bought the tan first but sent it back as it was very drab and boring for this blue one instead. The color is exactly as shown, a beautiful nautical blue with off white trim. I paired it with bright white sheets/curtains and it blends perfectly though you could use an off white color as well. I prefer pure white as it makes the duvet look very vibrant and crisp. The fabric is very soft and not scratchy like some cheap comforters you find in discount stores. Button are at the very end of the duvet which is nice since your feet won't get tangled in them at night. The pattern is nice but not too busy. Perfect in any room!! Overall, this is a wonderful set!! I am very satisfied with the price for the quality and very happy with this color. I recommend it 100% if you like bold colors.

I bought this for my daughter's new home. The rouching is really a nice touch from the average duvet cover. It's hard to see but there are also tiny blue and lavender flowers. We thought it was all pink flowers but it's not. But still very pretty cover and we're happy with the purchase.
