  • This comforter set is beautiful!!

    I recently purchased a black leather bed and was searching everywhere for a black n white comforter set that i didnt think was cheesey looking or cheap. When i saw this i instantly fell in love n prayed when i got it home and saw it in person i would still feel the same....its absolutely gorgeous! I am super thrilled that i made the decision to buy it!

  • I used to trust amazon review

    Despite reviews that say this set was beautiful and quality, it's cheaply made, basically two sheets with batting in the middle and some appliqué. I kept it because we had a house showing, but it wasn't worth the money. You could buy better for half the price at Anna's

  • Absolutely beautiful.

    The black scroll on the comforter is on the left lower corner of the king-sized set. The appliqué is very nicely done. The decorative throw pillows are exceptionally nice. The only problem is that I only received 7 of the 9 pieces in the advertised set. It was missing the 2 euro shams. But, I love the set.

  • King size: Too small

    I purchased the king size set for my new master bed matress. The comforter was the only thing that I took out and it was way, way too small for my bed. The picture shows an over lap from the top of the matress of about 12-18 inches (enough to cover the side/thickness of the matress). This comforter maybe hung 4 inches to the right and left sides of my mattress. Once you get 2 people under it there is not enough to cover you both. The quality of his cotton comforter seemed good otherwise.

    Beautiful white comforter with black swirls. It did differ from the picture a bit as the swirls do not go up as high as in the picture. They are in the lower right corner. Still nice. The throw pillows that came with it are very nice, too.

  • Duchess Comforter

    The Duchess comforter is soft, comfortable and light. This is perfect for where we live. Most of the months are warm to hot. The comforter smoothed out the wrinkles quickly with a light tumble in the dryer. It looks beautiful on the bed and the pillows are amazing. There were a few threads that were over sewn on the design, but overall we love the look and the comfort. Overstock had the best price compared to anyone. Well worth it.

I haven't yet. It is in my guest room and haven't been used since I got it. I was thinking the same if the colors would run if washed. That's why when I have bought this set I knew it isn't going to be used much so for now it works. glenca on Dec 11, 2012

It doesn't state the count exactly, but it's VERY soft. My son loves to snuggle in my bed and he's picky on soft covers. I would guess this is maybe 400-500 and it's 100% cotton. ctcountrygal on Dec 11, 2012
