This 2 inch foam mattress topper cost a little more than the easily recognized name brand one. I spent a little more on it and purchased it instead because I got the impression from the product description that it wouldn't make me too hot. (People report that foam toppers make the bed too hot.) It's REALLY comfortable! It changed the whole feel of my bed. I've been having a lot of joint pain at night, especially in my hips. The first night I slept on the bed with this topper was heaven. It came in an unmarked box with no packing slip, and no brand identification what so ever. If I hadn't read one of the other reviews that mentioned this, I would have been upset. I only purchased a two inch topper because I didn't want to have to buy new, deeper sheets. Happily, my bed sheets fit right over it. I did air it out when I first got it, although the smell was nothing compared to the name brand one I bought from Overstock at the same time for my guest room. (That one had to air out for a week!) It arrived in good time, and even though the box was a little bashed in, the topper was in perfect condition. Be careful when you cut the plastic wrapper off, to cut where they put the cardboard protector strip, or your scissor might cut the topper. This is a 'density 4', which means that without regard to how many inches high it is, (2 inches), it is firm. Density 3 is medium, and 2 is soft. If you like a relatively firm bed, but need some cushion without sweating from the foam, this is your ticket!

it's firm, just like described. I can't really speak to whether it's "memory" foam or not. Your hand doesn't leave an imprint like they show in pictures of other memory foam products, but that could be do to it's firmness? I have a regular cheapo mattress pad on top of this, and I sleep like a dream and no longer wake up with a sore back. I love the fact that it's firm, so you don't sink in (I had a memory foam topper that I gave away before this one because I didn't like the sinking-in feeling). I also like that there's no cover on this - you put it directly on top of your mattress, so it doesn't slip around like it would with the cover on.

Bought a mattress that was too soft. Returned it but the next one was too hard. I couldn't return it again so I had to figure something out. I got this topper to try and split the difference and it works GREAT. Perfectly split the difference and made my sealy posturpedic the exact right firmness/softness. I've had the foam topper for over a year and it hasn't lost it's shape yet. I got latex because I heard it doesn't sleep as hot as memory foam. I sleep very warm at night and am not bothered by excess heat with this topper. Highly recommend this.

Much better product than I expected.Unlike other memory foam toppers that require unpacking and waiting 48 hrs to use, this topper was just about ready to put on the bed out of the box with little or no odor.Very comfortable for us on the firmer side, however my arms have yet to fall asleep when sleeping on my stomach.

I had terrible insomnia and couldn't sleep because my new bed was too soft. Returning the bed for a firmer bed was not an option. I am a stomach sleeper so I needed firmer support. This has been a Godsend for me. It made my soft bed much firmer and gave me the support I needed for sleeping beautifully on my stomach. I am so pleased with my purchase.Note: It feels really firm the first night you sleep on it, but give it a week and it will break in nicely. You will sleep like a baby every night.

This pad does not have that tendancy to make a cavern that you have to climb out of in the morning, but still cuddles comfortably to fit your body while you sleep. And during the day it recovers like new. First pad wife and I like after trying 5 of the pure Viscous foam pads (none of which we were happy with). We like this one so much I bought another for our second house

This foam mattress pad is sooo comfortable and makes such a difference in the quality of sleep. Practically eliminated morning backache! There was just a very slight odor at first, but hardly noticeable after a couple of hours.

Dream Support 2-inch Foam Mattress Topper was a great buy for me. I was having severe back aches. I will assume due to my mattress because I haven't had anymore back aches after placing the topper on my mattress. I placed the latex topper on my 1-year old sealy posturepedic bonita beach plush queen pillow top mattress. My mattress is actually soft and this latex topper made the mattress firmer. I haven't experienced any back pain since. I couldn't afford to purchase a new mattress and the cost of the latex topper was much cheaper than a new mattress. My sister went through the same back pain problem but she purchased a serta 3" 4lb memory foam topper and placed her topper on a a very firm mattress. It made her mattress softer and she stopped having back pain. I went with the latex topper instead of the memory foam for firmer and long lasting support. Each person is different and will experience differences based on their comfort needs but this latex topper really worked for me. I wanted to wait after I slept on the latex topper for over 2 months before writing this review. My pain stopped after 1 week after sleeping on the latex topper. What a great buy! I do recommend this product.

This was the first foam topper I ever purchased so I didn't want to spend a lot of money in case it wasn't for me. I have been having a lot of back aches from my mattress, which is only 5 years old, and I refused to purchase a new one. Several people had suggested trying the foam topper as a resolution. I'm glad I bought this one as I did spend a lot of money. Some toppers are really pricey. I disagree with some of the other reviews here as it is not as comfortable for me as it seems to be for other reviewers. This is just a personal opinion. The topper arrived in good condition & seemed to regain it's full shape in a matter of a few hours. It wasn't shrink wrapped so much as it was just smashed down & wrapped in regular plastic. The odor was very light & this too dissipated in a matter of a few hours. The topper seems hard to me. I know it's not the memory foam type where you sink down in but I didn't expect it to be so hard either. I do have fewer backaches, has not elimated them entirely, but I now seem to toss & turn all night long trying to get comfortable on the stiff foam. It's now a question of which is the worst of two evils - a backache or constantly waking up tossing & turning. I have had the topper for about 3 weeks now & will give it another week or so before making the decision of removing it or not. If I had it to do over I would have either purchased a memory foam topper or possibly the down/feather type topper.

This is wonderful foam topper! I would recommend this product to anyone who wanted to make their current mattress more comfortable. It fits perfectly with no overlap and doesn't make you hot while you sleep.

Firm support cradles the body - you can actually fee it molding to you! I hadn't been able to sleep on my side for months without a sore hipbone or shoulder waking me up; I've used this pad for several weeks now and no more aches! My husband won't admit to it, but I know he's not tossing as much either.

I'm in my sixties and weigh about 155 lbs. I have lower back aches that will keep me from getting a good night's rest if the mattress is too soft or to hard. About 9 months ago I bought a very expensive mattress which turned out to be just a bit too hard for me and it was also hot. My back was starting to get worse every night sleeping on it. This pad was a life saver for my back. From the very first night I noticed a peaceful sleep. I also ordered the ISO Cool mattress pad cover to go along with it. Shipping was fast and the pad did not have a bad smell to it at all. I did leave it laying out for one night on the sofa but really do not know if that was necessary.
