The first thing I looked for was if this had a tag. I would have gone back immediately without giving it a chance to fluff. The tag was there and when I read it . . .25% feathers...really? It did seem a little heavy. If this is not a problem for you, this is otherwise very lovely comforter. Wide white on white stripes with a satiny corded detail on the edges. The edge is not baffled...(mine is) and I have to say this is a crisper look and so, a good thing. I received this last nite so it is still fluffing. It does feel full and if I look through it up to the light there is an even amount of down in the squares. The price is spot on but I may dig deeper and spend more for a lighter (no feathers) comforter. If it goes back, that would be the only reason. I will in the future see if the description says 100% down.

Just what I wanted--warmth without weight. I would appreciate a tag on the item indicating that it is 500 thread count/700 fill. You really don't know what you have by the current label. However, I have been using it for several weeks and am quite satisfied.

I love it....it is everything it is suppose to be...it is light, and warm at the same time and very comfortable, and not expensive. It is priced very well for a Queen Down Comforter. Overstock delivered it right to my door without any hangups. Thank you Overstock for the products you introduce to us, the consumer. We will continue to purchase from your company. Merry Christmas. I am very pleased with this product. After reading the feedback from privious purchasers, I wanted to "wait and see" what I got. When it arrived, I took it out of the packaging and there was no odor. I have followed the instructions that came with the comforter (fluff it up once a week) and it has remained nice and fluffy. I have had zero feathers coming out. It is pleanty warm, even when the temps have gotten down into the 20s here and I've had the window at the head of the bed open. Over all, a very good product.

The product arrived in a timely fashion and its construction was fine. However, once out of its wrapping, I noticed a peculiar smell about it. Thinking that it might just need to air out, I hung it outside. Still smelly. Then I layered it with fabric softener sheets thinking that might help. Nope. Took it to a drycleaner to freshen up and they said nothing that they could do would make a difference. I now have a fairly expensive down comforter stuffed into a corner of my closet because it smells too much to keep it on my bed. This comforter is going to end up being a very expensive donation to a homeless shelter.

Perfect combination of support and comfort. I prefer pillows that do not have significant loft. This pillow compresses nicely without bottoming out. It has nice rebound without deforming after use. Perfect pillow.

Good quality and comfort. Wish they were a little more down because they seem to compressed ratrher quickly.

The pillow is very comfortable I have other down pillows and I like them as well, but they seem to always "flatten" throughout the night and that would wake me up and I would have to "fluff" them. This one seems to stay fuller longer and you don't have to continually "fluff" it. The only thing, I thought I was getting 2 pillows and when I received the order, there was only 1 in the box. I should have read the details closer, but that was my error. Overall, I would recommend the pillow for a good night?s rest.

After trying numerous pillows without any luck, we purchased these Siberian white down 500 thread count pillows. The pillows arrived just a couple of days after we ordered them, and I have to tell you these are the best pillows we have ever slept on. My wife and I both agree the comfort level is unmatched, and the value is outstanding. Right out of the box, we just put a nice pillow cover over them and and we both couldn't stop talking about the way they shaped to your head and again, the comfort level is fantastic. You can't beat these for price, quality, but most important, the comfort level. 5 star all the way, I will be ordering more for the kids!

I love these pillows. I love them so much that I bought another pair for my granddaughter for Christmas. I know she will love them too. I would certainly recommend them to anyone. I may buy some more.
Warm and incredibly soft, down comforters are the height of luxurious bedding. Like all other bedding, down comforters can range from inexpensive to costly. The proof is in the filling. Inexpensive down comforters are filled with a combination of down and polyester or down and feathers. The best down comforters, which are usually also the most expensive, are full of pure, thick down. Take a look below to learn the best fills for down comforters. Hungarian goose down: Hungarian goose down is considered the most luxurious type of down. These extreme cold-weather birds have very thick, almost odorless tufts of down at the base of their feathers. This heavy, long-lasting down is most often used in comforters with a fill rating of 800, which means they can keep a person warm even in cold conditions. Eiderdown: Eiderdown is harvested by hand from the abandoned nests of Eider ducks, which pluck the down from their own backs and use it to cover their eggs. Eider ducks live in cold climates, so their down is thick and heavy. It is used in high-quality comforters with a fill rating of between 700 and 800. Eider duck down is the only type of duck down used in high-quality comforters. All other duck down is usually considered too smelly (and some duck down has tiny barbs) and is used in much less expensive comforters. Grey and white goose down: Grey goose down is used in dark comforters due it its grey color, but it is the same as white goose down in all other ways. Grey and white goose down, which is usually harvested from European or Chinese geese, is the most popular type of down used in middle-price-range pure down comforters. These comforters usually have a fill rating of 600 and above. Hypodown: Hypodown is a mixture of white goose down and milkweed. This all-natural filling is hypoallergenic and much more durable than pure down comforters. While pure down is still considered to be the preferable fill for comforters by most people, hypodown is gaining popularity with consumers who want a longer lasting product without synthetic fills. Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts
