This comforter was very disappointing. I thought it would at least have some fill/feathers, but there was almost no filling whatsoever in each of the squares of this so-called comforter. Don't waste your money. This couldn't possibly keep anyone warm when it's basically just a double sheet!

I normally dont write reviews, but I need to warn future buyers.... The blanket is warm and comfortable, yes. But the FEATHERS KEEP COMING OUT even with a hypoallergenic zipper sheet AND duvet cover I put over it. Can you imagine how many more feathers would come out without the zipper sheet? If you dont mind feathers in your bedroom, hair, and mouth, this is the blanket for you. Needless to say, i need a new blanket.

I've had this down comforter for about 18 months now. It has been a complete waste of money. The comforter was great in the beginning, but within 6 months feathers began to seep through my duvet. It has lost it's fluffiness and all the feathers seem to travel at the bottom of the comforter. I'm very disappointed and will not every purchase a down comforter from Overstock. I will continue to purchase their sheets though.

I tried hard to like these pillows but they're absolutely awful. They're very fluffy but once i put my head down, it pretty much falls flat, my head doesnt have much support. I have to bunch it up under my neck so I dont wake up with a stiff neck. And the feathers..... there's feathers EVERYWHERE. There's feather remnants all over the pillowcases and on the bed sheets. I wake up to feathers in my hair as does my husband who shaves his head, the feathers stick to his head stubble and his beard. No, we're not covered in feathers everyday but we do very occasionally find one or two small feathers on ourselves in the morning. I'm trying to find another pair of down pillows so I can throw these away. Avoid these pillows!

The quality of the Feather bed was excellent, it was comfortable. The reason that I purchased this was because I slep on one at a well known hotel and I wanted to have the same comfort. It was great for the second night, but then it became flat after that, but was still comfortable. The key to having a feather bed is that you really need to fluff after two night sleep. Too much work, but I am glad I purchased this one instead of the one from the known hotel chain. Same quality for 1/3 the price. The hotel's was better, becasue they have house keeping change the sheets and fluff the feather bed box each day. It was still work the cost, but too much work.

I love this feather bed! Best purchase I have made in a long time. It just needs to be fluffed each week when u change your sheets. The fabric could be a little thicker so that the feathers don't poke u. I just put down a flat sheet on top, under my fitted sheet.

I have had this on my bed over two years at this point and I love it only complaint is lots and lots of feathers come threw the bottom next to the mattress and they stick in the mattress. When I take the sheets off to wash you need to take feather bed off and shake out to re-fluff before putting the sheets back on. It is holding well just lots of feathers!

I love the addition to my bed . The cover is great , no feather sticking me in the night. I can reach under the sheets and fluff it every morning before I make the bed . Buy it, you'll love it.

This thing is leaking feathers EVERYWHERE, not just in one place. Changing the sheets is an ordeal, and Overstock has a terrible return policy and mediocre customer service, so this was not a smart buy at all.

The cover is nice and thick, so there are no random feather pokes! The bed itself is high and fluffy, but it does need to be refluffed each week with a sheet change. Great product for the price.

I just love feather beds, it's like sleeping on a cloud. I like this feather bed, it will go flat on you when you sleep on it and if this happens, just pull back the sheets and give it a shake and it will fluff back into shape. I think this is a good feather bed for the price.

This mattress topper needs another mattress cover over it so the feathers don't poke through. This is on my daughters bed & she says she feels the poke from the feathers even through flannel sheets.... Other than that it's great!

Love this. The smaller baffles of feathers stay fluffier and in the area they are supposed to be. I have had others that just had three baffles and the feathers kept moving to the top and bottom so that you would have to fluff each time you changed sheets. This needs fluffing also, but will stay in shape much longer. the comfort is amazing. You can snuggle down on a cold Montana night and sleep like a baby.

...This is nice for the price...But , I have never seen so many tiny feathers all over my beddroom with ANY other down product Iv had! This is my first Featherbed, so to be fair and honest, I don't know if it's a common thing. It is comfy though. Needs to be fluffed regularly to retain loft. I use it with a fitted sheet tucked around it...

I love the way the pillow feels, very comfortable. However.........I have only been sleeping on it for a couple of months and I noticed very small feathers coming out of it all over my sheets. I can see them actually all over the pillow. It's a shame because the pillow is very comfortable. Would not recommed to buy.

I only gave this feather bed four stars because it is a bit too small for my queen mattress. Over all the fabric was nice and it is comfortable to sleep on. It's not only too small side to side but top to bottom also. My queen mattress is of a standard size, regular queen sheets fit it fine.

I've used the feather bed for 2 wks. now and I find you have to fluff it everyday and if you don't have a regular cover for it the feathers tend to come through the fitted sheet and stick you. I think it will be hot in the summer and I will have to take it off. I think the fiberfilled one would have been a better choice for that reason...

Improving the quality of my sleep is important to me. I have a very bad back and live my life on pain meds. I spent the night at a friend's house and got the best night's sleep I've had in YEARS, and it was due to her featherbed. So I bought this one, and I'm glad I did. I put it under my bottom sheet, and it's wonderful!

I sent this to my husband in Carson City, NV. He loves it....doesn't have to climb into "cold" sheets! He is falling asleep fast and getting restful sleep. I just ordered a down comforter from Overstock.com to go along with the feather bed for those cold winter nights coming up!
by Staff Writer Two major considerations when purchasing a down comforter are content and construction. The Federal Trade Commission has standards set that specify labeling procedures for products that contain down. If the label of a down comforter reads 100 percent down, the comforter must contain down feathers exclusively. The same is true if the label reads pure down or all down. Most down comforters are made with goose down, but some may include down feathers from other species of fowl. Look below to learn how to buy a down comforter.
