I have owned this comforter for two months now. This comforter is stitched well, no flying feathers, and is soft. The color is white not ivory. The weight is what I would call light. It will be good for year around use, and is more of what I would call a down blanket rather than a big puffy comforter. If you are looking for a lightweight comforter for cooler nights, this will do the job. I purchased the king size and it is not large enough to hang down several inches on the sides of the bed. but it does cover the top of the bed with a few inches to spare. It's a good value for the price and perfect for warmer climates. Not washable, dry clean only.

bought with Euro-check 1000 thread count duvet - thats right, 1,000 thread count is amazing!!!!!!! and the ivory is superb!! Back to the down comforter - 500 thread count keeps the down from coming out - have not seen ONE feather -- not even one little bit!! Have not even felt a feather!! :-) The weight of the comforter is amazingly perfect! extremely warm yet a comfortable weight! love it!! love it!! I bought together with the duvet. I love them boith - the perfect fit and perfect combination!! I love the baffle box stiching. I fluffed the hell out of the comforrter when I took out of the package and I still have not seen nor felt a feather! I beliedve the 500 thred count really makes a huge difference! I would recommend to anyone and EVERYONE!!! I have been cozy for the last two nights now! Any guests sleeping in my gueast room will be jealous!!! I am going to have to buy one for the guest room now - with the same duvet!! Look for the euro-check 1000thread count duvet - I belive I paid $$$ - well worth it!!! they are a perfect fit fo each other - all together 1500 thread count! Go for it!!!

This is the first down comforter I bought through Overstock and it by far exceeded my expectations in quality, weight, color, appearance and size. The comforter itself is very light weight (considering the down fill power and fill weight) so it will be great for all seasons. The Ivory color is a true ivory color. The jacquard print is lovely and not raised so it blends well into the fabric. The comforter arrived in the usual plastic comforter bag and it immediately fluffed out into a giant marshmellow when I placed it on the bed. I noticed absolutely NO smell whatsover (which I was a little worried about after reading some the of the reviews). I bought the King size for my Queen bed because I have 15" mattress and a 5" feather bed (also a great purchase from Overstock). However, the King size measurements for this comforter on the website are off. The website states the size of the king is 108 X 98. That was not the case for my comforter. The tag states is 104 X 90 and I also measured it and it is truly 104 X 90 which was perfect for my very high Queen bed. The only drawback for me was that I bought this beautuful 1100 threadcount silk/cotton comforter to showcase over my silk/cotton sheets but after seeing how delicate and light colored it is, I will definately need to buy a duvet cover for it to preserve it which at least for me, defeats the purpose of buying such a beautiful fabric covered comforter. I have been searching Overstock for jacquard high thread count duvet covers and it has been difficult to find one that will fit the size of this comforter as most king duvet covers are 102 X 86. I will keep searching for a duvet cover because overall I am very pleased with this comforter's quality and I think it it was well worth the money considering its down fill weight and fill power.

The comforter is very nice, except for the colors. The comforter is lightweight and big/wide enough to fit a 14" queen size memory foam mattress (also from Overstock) perfectly. However, in the picture the brown looks like a deep chocolate, but in person it's actually a brick brown -- and the creme in the picture is actually a cafe color. I don't care for the brick brown color, but the cafe color is pretty and goes well with my scheme. If the brown was deeper, I would've paired it with ivory and chocolate sheets set/pillow cases -- mixed matched. Since it's not, I'm going to pair it with just ivory. Hope this helps and happy shopping!

Ours came to us defective, so we're sending it back. Must say, We really don't approve of O.CO's policy regarding defective item returns, because we think there should be more time given. That said, they ARE very helpful in trying to make sure you ultimately get what will please you! The main reason we decided on a different comfortor, was that the piping around the edges of this one REALLY looks cheap AND ODD! The ticking is a beautiful creamy ivory - very high quality - but the piping looks like cheap, stiff, UGLY, polyester, sport-shoe lacing, and on top of all that, it is WHITE!! The white looks DREADFUL next to the pretty ivory silk/cotton sateen fabric!! The other negative is that the baffled boxes of the comforter are VERY UNEVENLY filled - some super fluffy, others flat as pancakes! Our advice - spend a little more, and get one with evenly great reviews...that's what we ended up doing, and now we're really happy!!!
