First, it's not what it says it is. If you actually read the label on the product you'll see that it is up to 75% down ! What kind of down no one is going to say. It's very thin and there isn't much filler in it. Hence it's heating capabilities are low. The light shines right through this thing. Nowhere is it to be found on the eddie bauer website. Probably it's a discontinued item and for good reason.

This comforter is heavenly. I'm excited to have it in my guest room. If it's rated for 15-year use on an every day basis, it should last forever in my guest room. :)

These pillows far exceeded my expectations. Excellent quality as one would expect from Eddie Bauer, very happy I purchased these pillows.

I purchased this product due to all the rave reviews and I was so disappointed. The topper was not very fluffy and you could feel the feathers poking out. I ended up returning it and buying the Eddie Bauer one and I am thrilled with it.

Was looking for a new comforter for our also new king size bed. This comforter is fabulous! Just as excellent as the old Eddie Bauer comforter it replaced. Warm, but not heavy. Will be fantastic in all 4 seasons in PA.

I ordered the king size in this 1000 count down pillow. When it arrived (promptly), there was NO down odor and the pillow was zippered into a nice bag such as comforters will come in. I was prepared for a fairly smooshy down pillow, as all of my other ones have been (except for the feather and down 50 percent each and they are hard) but was pleasantly surprised to find that this pillow, although nice and soft, actually had a firmness about it due, I suppose, to the very large amount of white goose down in the pillow.Being a king size, this was a lot of down for the price! I am extremely pleased with my pillow - and I am very particular. This is better than my Eddie Bauer down pillows I've tried and the Cuddledown ones and the pricey department store 100 dollar plus down pillows! I've ordered from LLBean and other catalogs carrying down pillows. There is just no comparison. If you think a down pillow cannot possibly be anywhere near "firm", then you must try this one.

I am replacing a 10 year old Eddie Bauer down comforter with this one. Its nice. Its a bit wider than my existing comforter which is nice. Its covering is soft, smooth and has an attractive strip pattern. Its filling is enough but certainly not lofty. So its an above average cover with a very average filling - again its just nice. I am keeping it as my lofty Eddie B comforter is 10 years old but it doesn't inspire the 'love' I had for my old blankey.

This comforter is great and looks great on the bed. It is very fluffy and large enough to cover my pillowtop (I was afraid it was going to be too short on the sides, but it wasn't). I will admit, this comforter is very warm. But, in the middle of the night in Michigan - especially in winter - that's what I was looking for. Might have to switch it out in the winter though... I switched this time from an older Eddie Bauer down comforter and this one is much better. No feathers leaking, nice big squares and much warmer.

I was introduced to feather beds during a holiday job stint at Eddie Bauer many years ago. This featherbed is absolutely, hands down, very luxurious and well made. I ordered a cover for it as well, but returned it, as this featherbed, barely has anything leaking out, which was not the case with featherbeds I have had in the past. What I really like is that it completely covers the top of the mattress. That too, is not always the case. I fluff it when I change the sheets, which is what you do anyway with a featherbed, but even at that time, I don't really have to. I consider myself an expert on these having sold them and use one all the time myself, year round. The other big plus, is the price. Hands down, the best. For the investment and the length of time that you can use a featherbed, it is the best value for the money I have seen for a very long time.

I ordered this feather bed based on information obtained from another reviewer's post: Northern Nights was identified as the brand. I've had experience with the brand through QVC, and Overstock beat the home shopping channel's price. On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate this bed at around a 6.5-7. It's gets points for the baffle design and the cover which has openings allowing you to grasp the feather bed and fluff. The bed wasn't as "fluffy" as I had hoped (I've had one previously that made me HATE to get out of bed), but it is comfortable and worth the small investment. And, it doesn't allow the feathers to poke through, another plus! Next time around, I think I'll go for a loftier/ heavier fill bed-- maybe the Eddie Bauer version which is reversible and got rave reviews.

You absolutely cannot go wrong purchasing this exquisite comforter. It is extremely light and yet very warm. The fabric is luxurious and it fits my oversize queen bed perfectly. Last year I purchased an Eddie Bauer comforter from Overstock and although it was warm, it was very heavy. This year I decided change to something not quite so heavy and this was perfect. The down does not shift and the construction is box-like around the edges, giving it a rich appearance. There was only the faintest odor when I opened the packaging and that dissipated within minutes. When it arrived I thought it was too small and flat to be a comforter, but as soon as it was on the bed it fluffed up beautifully and is just perfect. Bring the cold winter months on!

When the package arrived it was just as described and came in a well marked plastic case. We've had it for a few weeks and keep it in a duvet cover. It's a king size and fits the king size bed perfectly. We fluff it every couple of days and the fill doesn't move around too much. It also doesn't loose a lot of feathers. It provides good coverage and is warm all the time. We don't need any other blankets or covers to stay toasty warm. We're happy with the product and would purchase again if we had another bed.

This down comforter is great, but as others have mentioned, it will arrive in the mail very compacted and flat. Once you fluff it out it is fine. It is extremely warm (not for summer!) and light. The only negative comment I have is that the package it came in was very bare - there was no place on the package or the comforter itself that states it is 600 fill power, so I was a bit hesitant to keep it, not knowing if I was really getting what I thought I paid for. Ultimately I put it on the bed and was happy with it so I decided to take that risk. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a good quality down comforter at an affordable price.

This, in my opinion, is not a $$$ comforter. Many quills could be felt inside of the comforter. Dark feathers were visible through the outer fabric. Also, for the price, I expected the fabric to be more attractive. Returned.

I recieved this last week, and I love it so much I am ordering more for some other beds in my household......the baffles are sewn closed so the feathers do not migrate, it is 100 percent down, and it is light enough that my husband can sleep under it. I DO live in scottsdale, so--if you are looking for a heavy duty winter comforter, this isn't it. It is also big and fluffy and poofy. Basically, the best down comforter I have owned, and I have been buying and using down comforters for the last 16 years.

As other reviewers mention, this is a warmer duvet. We have an "all season" that is better for summer, but this one is fluffier and warmer. It feels luxurious due to the fluffy factor. I worried that "oversize" in the queen might mean it doesn't fit into our duvet covers, but in fact it fits perfectly and without the extra fabric hanging off our other "regular" queen duvet. The baffle box construction is excellent for loft and for keeping feathers in place. We've not had a single stray feather in a week of use.

I bought two of these Pillows and they are BEAUTIFUL! It took me months to finally purchase pillows online because if I didn't like them id have to pay big bucks to return them. So I took the risk and I LOVE THEM. They are amazing quality, VERY BIG and VERY FULL. You can somewhat feel the feathers in them, but it goes away with use. They are wonderful quality for the price. I just bought two more yesterday!

Very impressive. Just got yesterday; no weird smell, nice white color. Baffles are sewn completely shut. Fluffs up nicely. WAY to big to fit in my little dryer if I wanted to, anyhow. Haven't seen one feather ! Not messy. I would recommend to anyone. Not too hot/ not too lightweight.

I looked at buying cheaper down comforters but am so glad I paid more money for this product. It is so fluffy and each fully closed baffle is full of feathers which are evenly distributed throughout the comforter and the comforter fabric is soft and has no odor. It arrived quickly; I ordered it on a Friday and received it the following Tuesday. I was worried about it being too warm as I like to be cool at night but so far it has been perfect with temperatures in the 30-40degF range at night and my heater set at 70degF. I bought the king size for my queen size bed as my husband and I tend to pull the queen size comforter off each other and the king size is perfect. It hangs over each side of the bed but still about 1 foot from the ground. This comforter is absolutely perfect and feels so luxurious and fluffy on my bed that I feel like I'm sleeping in a cloud.

I am very happy with the down comforter we purchased. It is light weight yet very warm.
