The pillows are very comfortable and lofty. They give good neck and head support The only negative thing is an odor coming from them. I've had to run them through the dryer several times with a fabric softner sheet to reduce the odor.

My husband loves his new pillows but they weren't the best for me. I need something with more support than these pillows offer. The pillows are high quality and fluff up wonderfully. There are no feathers poking you in the neck or floating through the air in the bedroom or attached to sheets and blankets. The price was right and if my honey is happy with them then they were a good buy.

I never knew that the retail price for pillows could be so high. These pillows are the best I have ever owned. They feel and look to me like the pillows used at the Ritz Carleton Resort. Couple these pillows with the memory foam and satin sheets and you will sleep with the comfort never before imagined. Thank you to Overstock for making quality high-end products affordable and available to the average joe like me.

I tried hard to like these pillows but they're absolutely awful. They're very fluffy but once i put my head down, it pretty much falls flat, my head doesnt have much support. I have to bunch it up under my neck so I dont wake up with a stiff neck. And the feathers..... there's feathers EVERYWHERE. There's feather remnants all over the pillowcases and on the bed sheets. I wake up to feathers in my hair as does my husband who shaves his head, the feathers stick to his head stubble and his beard. No, we're not covered in feathers everyday but we do very occasionally find one or two small feathers on ourselves in the morning. I'm trying to find another pair of down pillows so I can throw these away. Avoid these pillows!

I really like the feel of these sheets, they just don't wash very well - wrinkle terrible, but that is probably part of the benefit of getting them so soft.

The sheets were just what I wanted for summer-light and soft. I am still getting "acquainted" with the pillow. It is different to what I am use to; but I think I am going to like it. As usual, your service was great. Thanks

I bought it online, and I guess it was a mistake, because it did not meet my expectations when I got it at all. The amount of feather is so small so when I set my head down it feels like sleeping on two fabric sheets. They also show you the picture of square-shaped pillows, but they are really wierdy rectangle, and long!!

The pillows look nice and are stitched very pretty, however, they formulate no support for your neck. The down feathers are real and residue are left on your sheets regardless of pillowcases. I'm not saying the pillows are not good, but they are not for me, I need support and not fluctuation when I'm sleeping on a pillow waking up with "crooked" neck.

Although I hoped for more support, these still are a great value. They squish down a "little" when you sleep. The fabric is good but recommend getting pillow covers with a high thread count (300 or higher) to protect them. I bought king pillows and shake the feathers down to one end of the pillow and fold over the top of the pillow protector and then fold in my pillow case so that the pillows are about the size of a queen pillow in order to get the loft "I" like. The feathers stay inside the fabric. When you get your pillows, put them in the dryer one at a time (on low heat) with a few tennis balls for about 15 minutes so they will fluff up nicely. I put a dryer sheet in there too!!

The pillows stink. They have a very bad order. I have sprayed and dryed with dryer sheets trying to get the smell out. For being down and feather they are extremely flat and require constant fluffing. Not even closet to being worth the money. I would return but overstock will not take them back. Only used one night. I have a worse neck ache.

alittle disappointed with this purchase! The pillows are way to mushy and do not provide adequate support. Even with placing one under the other the comfort is not obtained. I would not purchase this type of pillow again. The overstock process and shipping was fine.

I'm a hard grader, I am very happy with my pillows. but I don't consider a new pair of bed pillows a life changing event. As with many down products, there was a bit of an animal smell when they first came out of the bag, but they arrived on a 100 degree day and sat on the porch for several hours and were WARM when I opened the bag. The smell went away completely within several hours. I tumbled in the dryer with some tennis balls and a damp dryer sheet per Overstock's care instructions. then I collected all the other down/feather pillows around the house and did the same. So all in all, I would buy again.

I've purchased a variety of down and down/feather combo pillows from Overstock, never sure what I was going to get. Some were rather flat fairly quickly, others a bit too thick forever. These really are the best so far. They are full enough that I don't feel my head against the mattress wondering if something is between me and the sheet, but not so full that I feel my neck bent uncomfortably. I've had them a couple of months now and have found my kids (11 to 21 years old) sneaking off with them because they love them as well. They have maintained their fullness with no feathers protruding, nor the customery down fluff covering my little one's hair with the cheaper, flat pillows. I would definitely buy again.

I ordered the Super Standard and love the size. I can still use a standard pillowcase, but the size is more generous and better looking. The pillows are not as supportive as I had expected, but I use one as a "clutch" pillow and another under my current down pillow for side sleeping. I would have given these all 5 stars except for the fact that they "shed" little feather particles quite badly. With dark sheets this isn't a pretty sight! I will have to use pillow protectors and see if this helps. I also gave them as a Christmas gift and the recipient loves them!

I ordered these and within 2 days the seam came aloose getting feathers all over the place. I returned them and reordered and wish I had requested my money back. The pillows had a strange odor that went away when I placed them on fluff in the dryer with a sheet of bounce. The pillows fluffed up quite nicely as well. When I went to bed, my head sunk all the way down. I fluff them every day, but they still go flat. Save your money. Buy a pillow with more fill.

$400 pillows?? I think not but still a good value. I revamped my whole bed (new sheets, feather topper and pillows) and I am not terribly pleased with these. They flatten really quickly. I was expecting them to hold up a little better because of the "pillow in a pillow" design but I can't tell there is a seperate pouch inside. I have been eyeballing these for a long time and finally broke down and purchased (on a sale day and got a killer deal on them). If I would have paid more I would have been upset. Would have been even more upset if I paid $400 for them!! I like thicker pillows and these aren't makin the grade but they are a fabulous value! If you sleep on your back these are not the pilllows for you as they lack the support and flatten quickly.

The sheets and pillowcases that I received were fine. I still haven't received my other box with the king size pillow cases almost a week after the first box was delivered.

After reading other reviews, I expected a much higher quality. These pillows are ok for the price. Would NOT order them again. The pillows I received did not look like the pillows in the photo. I usually sleep on 2 pillows, with these, I need 3. Also ordered a feather bed, love it...and sheets. Also love the sheets. I'll keep ordering, but these pillows are awful.

My friends know I am a fanatic about my bedding and frequently ask me about pillow sheets and whatnot. I love these pillows. I had feather pillows before and they had gotten too flat so I needed to buy new pillows. These pillows are incredible, they are so comfortable and they fluff back up te next morning. I am so happy I bought them. I keep telling everyone to get some.

THESE ARE BELLA LUX BRAND PILLOWS! (It's a very high-end luxury brand, marketed to the very wealthy). If you can find a better pillow than this, buy it. I would have given these a hundred trillion star rating if I could:) I discovered these @ TJ Maxx a year ago, labeled "Bella Lux" brand. There were 6 in the store. I bought 4, figuring I'd go back & pick up the remaining 2, if I really loved them. I went back the next day to buy them, & to my dismay, they were long gone. For the entire year since, I've been sleeping in total, indulgent luxury, and searching for more of these pillows, to replace some of my other down/feather pillows. (Some are too flat, others are too heavy/lumpy/hard). This is the absolute PERFECT amount of down fill. Well, as perfect as can be, because really, "perfect" is based on individual's opinions- There will always be some people who think there's not enough fill, and others who think there's too much fill, etc. I've owned down & feather pillows for 20 years- I've paid $200 / pillow. None come close to this pillow's quality- I've owned this exact pillow, & slept on it nightly, for a full year. It's the absolute, ultimate perfect pillow! I always get Queen size, because I like to align it sideways with my head/neck/torso, & scrunch it up to sleep on. Sometimes, I'm so exhausted I fall asleep on my back, & I wake up the next am. with this cloud-like cradling sensation of my head & neck. I just purchased & rc'd 4 more of these from overstock- They are perfect perfect perfect! I'm going to buy 2 more, to save for my daughter to take to college with her. Definitely make sure you purchase zippered covers for them- It might not seem like you need them up-front, but 5-10 years from now, you'll be very glad that you've kept these treasures covered. I take the covers off to launder monthly. Oh, and by the way- When people are complaining that the tiny feathers are escaping the cotton fabric, that's a GOOD thing- It means the down clusters are so incredibly tiny (high loft), that even a solid sheeting of cotton doesn't contain them completely. And, we're not talking about any amount of down leakage beyond .0001 % of the fill. It's inconsequential, except that it's the indicator of a VERY high quality fill. The cotton fabric is a very high thread count (= nothing much to get between your head & the pillow! Makes for a very soft pillow). And, the edges of this pillow are also very well-constructed- Flat edged, double-fine stitched. I can't say enough about these magnificent pillows. Gazillionaires pay $2,000+ / pillow! They are getting a pillow that is roughly equivalent to this one. Live like you are mad-wealthy. Buy a few of these luxury pillows, & let o.co know that these pillows are in continual demand! Thanks for reading my pillow novel. Sleep well :)

Two major considerations when purchasing a down comforter are content and construction. The Federal Trade Commission has standards set that specify labeling procedures for products that contain down. Most down comforters are made with goose down, but some may include down feathers from other species of fowl. Look below to learn how to buy a down comforter.
