Nice pillows ... medium / soft firmness is what I prefer and they deliver this level of comfort. They do however "crinkle" a little and I've seen a few feathers. I still feel the value is present.

I love these down pillows because they are truly a medium firm. I have a herniated disk in my neck and need a firmer pillow for support.

these are medium firmness, but my husband thinks they are too soft, every person has their preference to that "feel": when you you put your head down for the night and these didn't stay @ medium, they just went too soft for his head. I think they are nice to curl around.

The pillow was advertised as medium firm. However, it is way too soft. I would not recommend buying this pillow if you are looking for a medium firm pillow as it is not.

Great value for a down pillow. Very comfortable with medium firmness. I sleep every which way and it is comfotable for back, side or tummy sleeping.

I bought two of these down pillows in medium firmness (just right for my small head and neck) and so far I love them. You can tell right away that they're quality pillows because they come with a sturdy, washable, zipped case that protects the pillow and prevents the feathers from sticking out; the number one problem with feather pillows. The medium is soft enough to cushion your head, but firm enough not to go flat when you sleep on it. It's just right for me and I'm very pleased with my purchase. Of course it does need fluffing from time to time, but that's always the case with down pillows. If you're into down pillows and you don't like "down alternative" I highly recommend this pillow. It's worth the little bit extra money for a quality product. I'm sure mine will last for years.

These pillows are exactly what you should expect for the price. You have to remember that these are feather pillows, not down, so they will have a little bit of crunch to them. That said, they fluff nicely, are medium-firm and very comfortable. Great buy!

I've previously bought circle of down pillows elsewhere. Expected these to be the same -- firm in the middle, soft on the outsides. After a couple of hours these pillows squish flat to only a few inches. I've had to add a third pillow to my normal two to get the height I need. If you're looking for a medium or firm feather pillow -- don't buy these.

I've had this pillow for a few weeks now and I like it pretty well. Your head does sink into it and it feels wonderful, just not quite the medium firmness I would've liked. It doesn't let you head sink completely flat, but a little bit more than I wanted. It does fluff back up almost immediately. Overall, it is a VERY nice pillow, one of the best Down I've ever purchased.

I was hoping to get a medium firm down pillow. These are not that, they are not firm at all. For the cost you can get better pillows than these at Ikea. Good luck.

When I finally received the pillow and used it the first time, it kept my head up so high that I thought I might have to return it. After using it for a few days it " softened up " a little. Now, it is perfect for me. I am a side and belly sleeper and I really like the pillow. It does not flattened out like a " soft " or " medium " down pillow. There was no smell when I removed the plastic covering. I was able to use the pillow the very same night.

This pillow is great. Nice and full - perfect for those that want a medium firm pillow with down.

These pillows spared no expense, they are as plump as thanksgiving turkey. For me, most down pillows don't have enough down in them and they go to flat during the night. I don't fluff these pillows much, they have plenty of support even after sleeping on them. The 800 count cover is removable and lets you change it from a medium to firm support pillow, to a medium to low support pillow. The feathers won't come out, especially if you have reasonably high thread count sheets. Anyway, lots of product here for the cash I would say.

The "medium-firm" is inaccurate. These are very nice soft pillows. But if you're looking for medium to firm as I was then this isn't it.

This pillow is advterised as "medium firm." While I am not an expert on rating pillow firmness, it would seem to me that any pillow where your head immediately sinks down to the bottom is nowhere near "firm." The pillow seems well made as long as you prefer soft.

I ordered and received these pillows two weeks ago and I've used them every night since. They arrived in a timely manner and both pillows were encased in a plastic bag inside a box. Both pillows were clean and smelled fresh. Both pillows came with a zippered pillow protector and I have put a second pillow protector over each of them. If there are feathers inside, I don't feel them, hear them or see them. There has been absolutely no loss of feathers or down in the two weeks I've had them. Both pillows were as advertised -- medium firm; perfect for a back sleeper and not too bad for a side sleeper (which I am), but I would like a little more support when I'm on my side. I find that if I use both pillows together, support is perfect for me when I sleep on my side. I ordered the jumbo size pillow and they completely fill my standard size pillow cases. I always recommend putting pillow protectors on and queen size is a good (but a little large) fit for the jumbo size pillow. I LOVE these pillows. And I'll probably order another set.

I AM A LONG TIME USER/FAN OF DOWN PILLOWS. ITS VERY DIFFICULT, IMPOSSIBLE, TO FIND PILLOWS MADE WITH QUALITY DOWN THAT ARE MEDIUM TO FIRM. THE FILL RATING, SHOWING HOW MUCH DOWN IS IN THE PILLOW WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL. IT LET ME PICK A MEDIUM TO FIRM PILLOW, NO MORE UNDERSTUFFED, SQUISHY PILLOWS. THIS PILLOW IS WONDERFUL AND I AM THRILLED WITH THE QUALITY AND PRICE.

I have purchased many down pillows in search of one that is a little bit fuller. This is the fullest I have ever found. It is not really "firm", but it is definitely medium-firm. I put it in a regular sized pillow cover and that firms it up a bit too (since the pillow is slightly oversized).

I would only recommend this pillow If you're looking for a very firm pillow. This pillow is definitely not medium soft and in my opinion, can not b characterized as a medium firm. This pillow is potato sack hard. I'm a side sleeper and thought it would b a good idea to follow conventional wisdom and sleep on a pillow that is medium to firm or medium soft, in order to protect my neck, etc.I choose this one because of the fill power and the combination of feather to down. Bought 2 immediately retuned one but with hindsight, I should have returned them both.. I thought I could adjust to the pillow but it just seems like I'm sleeping on a sack filled with sand. It's soft enough that my head makes an imprint, otherwise this pillow lacks flexibility and actually my neck feels worse. It's no wonder that I fall asleep on the pillow but awaken with the pillow lying off to the side.
