Down Featherbeds

Everyone deserves to get quality, restful sleep each night. If you are tossing and turning, struggling to find a comfortable sleeping position or waking up with aches and pains, you may find relief by adding a down featherbed to your mattress. If you already sleep well, you can update your bed from comfortable to heavenly with the addition of a feather mattress topper. Since they are designed to be used on top of your existing mattress, a feather bed provides you with the supreme comfort of down without sacrificing the support of your innerspring bed.
A feather bed can work wonders in supporting your back, hips, and joints. Due to the natural resilience of down feathers, your topper will keep you comfortable night after night, like sleeping on a bed composed of downy pillows. The baffle-box design of most modern down featherbeds keeps the feathers from sliding to one side or the other, so the feathers will stay well distributed, and every inch of your bed will be consistently soft and warm.
When you buy your featherbed, one of the most important factors to consider is fill power, or the amount of fluff provided by the down. Higher fill power means better cushioning and support. The thickness is another crucial factor to consider, as some featherbeds are thicker and fuller than others. If you want the utmost in comfort and warmth, try an overfilled featherbed with high fill power. Most featherbeds have a removable cover, which makes for easy cleaning. Because it is typically placed underneath the sheets, the cover's thread count may not be as important a factor as in other forms of down bedding, but it may be a factor to consider nonetheless.

Bought this to go over our queen bed in a travel trailer. Added the right amount of softness without too much bulk. Only complaint I have is that it was a bit smaller than advertised, but stretched out it covers the space.

Very fluffy to start but needs to be fluffed up every time you change the sheets. I'm sleeping like a baby.

I bought the 5 inch Super Snooze Featherbed set in 2012 and it has help up rather well. It gets a little lumpy but that is easily taken care of by fluffing it once a month. I am very happy with the cushion it gives my back during sleep.

My wife and I have been using this featherbed topper for about 3 months now and, the same as the first day we used it, we are very happy with it. We shake it out to fluff it about once a week and that is all that's necessary for it to keep its shape, form and fluff level. It stays in place very well without straps, etc. We have not had any problem with feathers poking us or coming out (1 small feather in 3 months). We were talking about it yesterday and we agreed that if there is a better product, period, someone would have to prove it to us. We honestly cannot believe that even buying one of the "hotel premium" toppers from around the world would have been worth any extra money.
