I am very happy with the purchase. It gets a tad warm some nights but hey I live in Ft Lauderdale so what do you expect. It sucks you in and you will not want to get out of bed. I got the king size for my queen size bed and would definately recommend doing the same to you. It holds its shape well and does not smell. The down filling is not perfectly spread out through out but when does that happen, and you will not loose any sleep over it either. ;)

1. O.co has size as 88X88 but the actual comforter is 86X86 and it's also stated ion the label (86X86). 2. Per description it is white down but in fact it white and grey/brown down and the dark spots can be seen through the cover and they look like dirty spots. Not usable without divet cover.. 3. Per description is it down comforter, but label says minimum 75% down and there are plenty of thicker feathers inside - I can definitely feel them. Low quality item - I'm returning it. Not happy with this purchase.

I've been watching this comforter for several weeks. I needed a full/queen but only the twin size was available. When the Ivory full/queen became available, I bought it immediately--the gray was my first choice followed by ivory, so I was OK with that. It's ample enough for my queen size bed (platform with only a mattress) without the weight of a larger comforter. The fabric is a crisp cotton. While others have complained that it's noisy/wrinkled, this doesn't bother me. I have several cotton down comforters (NOT microfiber) and this one is no different. Yes, it's going to wrinkle because cotton does that. I washed it and it fluffed up nicely in the dryer. I don't really like duvet covers because of the added weight, and it's hard to find a down comforter with a gentle pattern like this one. I think the ivory is clean looking and the colors in the print are a nice contrast--they have a little more punch than I expected but over time they'll settle down. We have dogs, so my bedding is in and out of the laundry frequently. It's held its shape (no feathers poking out) and for us, it's plenty warm even though it's not that dense--perfect for the transition of fall into winter. I hope Overstock is able to get the gray color as I would buy that one as well.

The color shown on the computer is deceptive. Don't call it drizzle call it gray. It looked like tan, I didn't know drizzle was a color. I am very unhappy.

This comforter if great for snuggling under and wrapping up in! My only complaint is that its cover is a slightly dingey white - almost gray. It would have been nice if it was a crisp white cover.

This comforter is just as others have described. It is not a big, fluffy comforter. But it does the job. I have not been able to put it to the coldness test yet since it looks like it will be a warm winter. I would describe the color as gray and not yellowish. But I am happy with it.

I ordered the gray colored comforter. It appeared tan to me when placed I it next to drapes and walls. My room color and the drapes did not match it at all, so I returned it. I did not even remove it from the plastic wrap. I was pleased however that it was made in the USA and sorry to have to return it.

The blue color I got was a true blue like the photo and the reverse side looked more gray and that was perfect for me. I had to air it out for a week before the normal feather odor left. Very warm. Little crinkle noise. The fabric on the comforter resembled a waterproof material like a sleeping bag not soft like cotton. Hope this helps.

I purchased the full/queen in gray. After reading reviews I had a pretty good idea what to expect. I was replacing a microfiber down comforter that was incredibly soft to the touch. I knew it would be hard to find something as soft as my original comforter. This one, sadly, was not. But I am not disappointed. It's a very smooth cotton feel. Not scratchy but not microfiber soft either. It's very fluffy and warm (too warm some nights). There was no smell and it didn't take long to puff up after being packaged. It does make crinkle noises when you move it, but it's never been distracting at night. I purchased the full/queen size. It fits a normal queen bed (with boxspring) pretty well but there is NO extra material hanging over on the sides or foot of the bed. If you have a deeper mattress or like your comforter to hang down a lot, the full/queen size will disappoint. As for color, it was exactly as shown on my computer monitor. I purchased the gray hoping it would match my wall colors. My walls are a Sherwin Williams shade called "Utterly Beige" which is a gray/beige color. It matched the walls perfectly! I am very happy with this purchase and would buy it again. The only thing I would change is to make it a few inches longer all around (king was sold out).

This thing is beautiful and warm. Maybe even too warm! With a flannel fitted & top sheet, if the temperature goes above 60 you might break a sweat. After suffering with four layers and an electric blanket for a month, this is pure luxury. I love the look but with stone floors I'm afraid it'll collect dust and turn gray. So I'll be getting a cover. Highly recommended.

When my wife and I purchased a new comforter cover for our bed we realized just how old our current comforter was. After a brief search on Overstock.com we found the perfect comforter for our needs. The quality, appearance, and value of this comforter is exactly as described and we would highly recommend it. Although the recent Seattle summer has caused us to kick the comforter to the end of the bed we know that soon the weather will return to the normal grey and rainy skies. This comforter will keep us warm and toasty for many years!

I have been really happy with this comforter except that it has to be dry cleaned and either I didn't see that before I ordered it or it wasn't listed under info about the comforter. But, it really is a comfortable, warm (but not too warm) comforter. The fabric is nice, but I would've ordered something else if I'd known it was dry clean only.
Warm and incredibly soft, down comforters are the height of luxurious bedding. Like all other bedding, down comforters can range from inexpensive to costly. The proof is in the filling. Inexpensive down comforters are filled with a combination of down and polyester or down and feathers. The best down comforters, which are usually also the most expensive, are full of pure, thick down. Take a look below to learn the best fills for down comforters. Hungarian goose down: Hungarian goose down is considered the most luxurious type of down. These extreme cold-weather birds have very thick, almost odorless tufts of down at the base of their feathers. This heavy, long-lasting down is most often used in comforters with a fill rating of 800, which means they can keep a person warm even in cold conditions. Eiderdown: Eiderdown is harvested by hand from the abandoned nests of Eider ducks, which pluck the down from their own backs and use it to cover their eggs. Eider ducks live in cold climates, so their down is thick and heavy. It is used in high-quality comforters with a fill rating of between 700 and 800. Eider duck down is the only type of duck down used in high-quality comforters. All other duck down is usually considered too smelly (and some duck down has tiny barbs) and is used in much less expensive comforters. Grey and white goose down: Grey goose down is used in dark comforters due it its grey color, but it is the same as white goose down in all other ways. Grey and white goose down, which is usually harvested from European or Chinese geese, is the most popular type of down used in middle-price-range pure down comforters. These comforters usually have a fill rating of 600 and above. Hypodown: Hypodown is a mixture of white goose down and milkweed. This all-natural filling is hypoallergenic and much more durable than pure down comforters. While pure down is still considered to be the preferable fill for comforters by most people, hypodown is gaining popularity with consumers who want a longer lasting product without synthetic fills.
