Very true Blue! I did the Caribbean Blue and let me tell you it is just like the colors you see in the Caribbean! The blue is a little bright but it does go great with out black furniture. I will say if there is a little stain that gets on it (my dog sleeps on the bed) It is very easy with a rag and water to get out. (so far) It is light enough for Florida weather as well but I still recommend keeping a fan on just in case. The only thing I was a little disappointed with is it is a little noisy with the material on the outside. You move and it makes noise. So thinking of maybe getting a cover. Otherwise great buy for the price!

I read reviews that this comforter was more blue than black. I called to speak to customer service and they said there were different shades of black, that I could return it if I didn't like it. I kept it because I like the weight.

Only down side is that comforter is dry clean only.

We bought a queen sized comforter for my daughter's double bed. I was not expecting much because of the low price tag *** compared to more expensive comforters I looked at in the dept store. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and aired it out and fluffed it up. It is very well made, not papery sounding. It's fluffy and warm, but not too warm. The down is soft and does not have large duck feathers or anything. It holds its poufy shape when I fluff it up on her bed. My 10 yr old daughter loves it and she wraps herself into a cocoon at night. We bought the Horizons Printed 3-piece Duvet Set in blue and they are lovely in her room. I would highly recommend purchasing this comforter. In fact, I'm going to purchase another one for another bed in our house.

This is a very weird situation. I bought the RED Microsuede 3-piece Down Comforter. It was a SUPER, terrific buy. I would rate that a 5 stars all the way down the line. I loved it so much, I bought a BLUE one. I got it yesterday and it wasn't the same at all. The outer fabric was the same, but instead of soft, lightweight feathers, it sounded like it was stuffed with plastic garbage bags. It actually crinkled and made plastic sounds when you moved it around. The BLUE one was awful. I highly recommend the RED one. I am sending the BLUE one back. I don't understand why one would be so different from the other. Therefore, you will have to take your chances if you buy this product.

I purchased this comforter about three to four months ago. I was a bit surprised that this comforter is actually produced by Royal Velvet, which isn't the best brand, to say the least. It was also not the comforter in the photo, as it had blue lining around the edges and Royal Velvet stitched in the side. However, I decided to keep it and it was very nice for about two months of normal use. After that, feathers began to shoot out like crazy whenever it was slept in. It was so bad that I would wake up each day congested and sneezing, even though I am not allergic to down. Not to mention that feathers were all over my room. So, if you want a comforter that is nice for a couple months, then buy this. If you want something that actually lasts, then look elsewhere. I have also learned to pay attention to the reviews that rate products bad instead of the five star ones, as they seem to be always be correct.

Color seems pretty accurate--a peacock blue or teal. Very nice quality cotton on the outside, nice, fluffy down inside so the comforter looks fluffed up nicely, not flat. There is a slight feather smell, but that is going away. I am using it as a summer comforter for San Francisco Bay Area, where cool nights are 57F to 62F, and it's perfect. I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought a moonlight blue one, it is comfortable and beautiful. Great Purchase! Compared to the cotton comforter, the only thing is that it has a little noise, when I told this problem to my friend who is a professional in home textile industry, he said it is because the comforter used an extra interlining to prevent down coming out. I'm still happy with this comforter because I don't need to worry about the leakage!!

This product is soft and fluffy. The price was great already, but amazing on sale. No crunch, no smell. Because I this one is a fairly light blue you cannot see any down escaping. I Also bought the eggplant, which is great, but the dark color makes any lint or down more evident. The shedding is very, very minimal with the eggplant, and invisible on the lighter color. Seems like the construction would not allow shifting. These are warm, but light. I have no complaints, and I've squeezed, fluffed, shaken and tortured a whole lot of expensive down comforters in many stores. The quality of this one exceeds expectations.

I ordered the black and it is not black. I would consider it navy blue. For those of you who are trying to match other furniture/decor, beware of how the color is represented!

There is blue piping, a large lego and lettering which isn't shown in the picture or listed in the item description

I was pleased with this comforter. The color tone (has a bit of blue around the edges) is nice, and the quality wonderful. Definitely a value for the price.

The blue color I got was a true blue like the photo and the reverse side looked more gray and that was perfect for me. I had to air it out for a week before the normal feather odor left. Very warm. Little crinkle noise. The fabric on the comforter resembled a waterproof material like a sleeping bag not soft like cotton. Hope this helps.

WOW.This comforter is remarkable. I love it and more important so does my husband. SO light weight - it is like having a feather on you. BUT it is so, so warm. AND beautiful - the baby blue trim added such a delicate touch to the box dimension. BUY BUY BUY it

Nice duvet however "Siberian silver" means nothing and the tag had "white goose down" whited out and below "at least 75% down". Also, a most large "Royal Velvet" logo embroidered in blue.

this comforter is very comfy and warm, but not too warm. it's hard to get out of bed in the morning because it's so comfortable. the only issue is the color. i purchased the lavender color combo and it's really more blue than purple.

I love my new comforter. It was a GREAT value! It is the only thing we use at night and it keeps us very warm. The only thing I did not like was that the words "Royal Velvet" are embroidered across the front of it in blue and I do not remember the add saying anything about that anywhere.

I bought the blue/ queen. It is soft, cuddly, beautiful and does keep us warm but I have to agree with the person who said there must be some kind of plastic in the lining of the blanket. Every time you move it sounds like a grocery type plastic bag.I too have been an overstock customer for a long time now and was disappointed in this item.

I was very surprised at the color, it matched the photo well. I ordered the blue, it's a very bright peacock blue. I was not what I was expecting to the touch, it was not very soft and it kind of sounds like a tarp when you move it around. However, it's very pretty in color, and keeps us warm without being too hot. We live in Florida and have been using it in the summer, so I think it will be great year round. Overall very pleased!

The down comforter I received was not as advertised, in short, if you don't want to read the full review: 1. It's not 100% down--it's "minimum" 75% down and not white goose down 2. It does not have a fill power of 650--it's 550 3. It's by Royal Velvet 4. It does not have a 330 TC cotton cover--it's a 275 TC cover 5. I got the Queen, which is advertised as having 40 oz. of down--it's actually 28 oz. 6. The "baffle box" construction is only for aesthetics--there were empty channels and the "down" was all over the place, but not the most important--the middle. Now, the story: I received the shipment 3 days after I placed the order (great service) but was disappointed to find a light to medium weight down comforter, which was not my intention as the ad stated the comforter had a 650 fill count--I was looking for heavy weight comforters. The "baffle box" construction was a joke as well since I held up the comforter to the light and saw that none of the fill was in its place, some channels were empty, others were filled with what I would describe as fiber fill, not down at all. There is some down in there, but not much. The brand name is Royal Velvet and it had light blue piping around the edges and the brand was embroidered near the bottom of the comforter. The label on the comforter read "minimum 75% down" and where it originally stated "white goose down", the "white goose" was whited-out. I tried it for one night and it didn't even keep me warm...that's one night in California, where it doesn't even get THAT cold compared to other places (it was in the 50's). Thinking that Overstock had sent me the wrong item, I called them and explained the situation. I was told I indeed got the wrong item and they would send out replacements (I bought 2). I received those 3 days later but they were the SAME thing. I sent them back. NONE of the 4 comforters I received had any packaging information on them--you know, the information on the package, inside the plastic bag that tells you the item specifics. That's pretty fishy and now I understand why. I did some research on the Royal Velvet product line and found that this comforter is from their Legacy collection with a 275 thread count cotton cover, 550 fill power, and the Queen size has a 28 oz. fill--NOT what's advertised here, at 330 TC cover, 650 fill power, 40 oz. down. Overall, Overstock's service was great--but the quality of this item is NOT as advertised. I'm very disappointed to be mislead. Shame on Overstock for advertising this product as better than what it really is!
