Reviews are very important to me. I usually research reviews before making any important purchases so I did read many of the reviews here before deciding which featherbed I'd purchase. I also wanted to live with it for awhile before leaving a review. Let me tell you; I made the best choice for myself and I'm thrilled with my new bedding. First, I didn't experience any odors that some people mentioned. I opened up the packaging, laid it out on my bed for a full day and at night before making my bed, I shook it out and fluffed it up, then enveloped it in the 400 thread-count cover I also purchased here on Overstock. Just so you know what I'm working, the mattress beneath is a 6-year-old firm Simmons Beautyrest mattress still in good shape. I've always preferred a firm mattress but over the years after sleeping in some plush hotels with luxurious bedding, I've come to appreciate a softer mattress and couldn't afford to just toss the one I have. I slept like a baby the first night. It's truly like sleeping on a cloud. However, I always sleep with an electric blanket in the winter and I awoke sweaty and hot. With the heat above me and the down beneath, I was on fire! The next night I removed the electric blanket and it's been heaven ever since. For the first week, every morning I got out of bed and re-fluffed the bedding because it leaves a very obvious dent in the center of the bed. It was more for aesthetics than anything else. Well, last night I got lazy and didn't re-fluff and honestly, it didn't make one difference. It's still the most comfortable night's sleep I've ever gotten at home. The bedding warms to the body quickly and lulls me off to sleep. And honestly the only problem I've had for the last week or so is that I linger in bed in the mornings and I NEVER do that. I hit the snooze button and just lie there for another half hour or more. Thank goodness yesterday was Sunday and I had nowhere I had to go early. To those who've left reviews about how it flattens; it's ridiculous to think that a FEATHERbed wouldn't flatten. If you put an 8-pound baby on it, it's going to dent; that's just the way it goes. If you don't want to sleep on feathers, then don't buy a featherbed. If you're looking for a reasonably-priced, lofty featherbed that provides a warm, cushiony sleep, then this is the product for you. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and I'd recommend this to anyone searching for a bargain they'll enjoy for quite some time. I've had no problems with feathers escaping and I'm overjoyed with my selection.

When my husband and I bough our new tall bed with a pillow top maters I was really excited until I discovered that I could not find bedding to fit it! I scoured the Internet and found this comforter. I purchased it solely based on the other positive reviews! I am glad I did the comforter is so plush and comfortable and it is truly oversized! We have no issues with it shifting through out the night to one side or the other. I bought it together with the oversized cotton sateen 3 piece duvet cover set palatia king size also on overstock and its amazing how well they go together! They fit perfectly and the comforter does not move inside of the duvet so no need to constantly have to adjust the corners and all that! This is definitely worth the money and it's a great price! I may order another just to have on hand if they ever discontinue this product.

This comforter is perfect. The extra large size fits my new cal king 14 inch mattress. I made a super sized duvet cover to go with it. It is a great weight, not too heavy and not too warm. Unlike my previous real down comforter, it doesn't make a crunching sound. It is an excellent product, for an excellent price.

Looked at many down comforters and decided on this brand as I have never been disappointed in the quality of their products. I ordered the "all weather" weight in King size and it fits my new bed perfectly. Bought a duvet from the same brand and the comforter fits perfectly inside. Would recommend.

I didn't know what to expect based on the previous reviews. But I was very happily surprised by the product. When I took it out it looked like great quality. There was NO smell like you sometimes get on new bedding, neither chemical nor 'natural' like you might worry about with wool from sheep (not even a hint! My nose is very sensitive). I find that it's not "heavy" but it's not light either. It's much heavier than my cheap walmart polyester comforter, and I think it's also a bit heavier than the Ikea feather comforter my parents have. I really like the weight on me when I sleep. I also find that the "moisture and temperature regulating" properties hold true - My husband gets too hot and I go back and forth. I usually get this weird burning sensation with my polyester comforter when I get warm, and it tends to trap in humidity. But not with this one. I get the "just right" temperature. And it does seem to subtly divert moisture away (was worried about my husband - he'll sweat a lot on synthetic materials). It's also not too thin - I like fluff - but it's not 'feather fluffy', which I don't like because it moves around so much, settling at the bottom, or making crinkly noises. In short - it's pretty much perfect!

Love this comforter - it's light and feels like silk. I bought the King size and whereas it's smaller than most King size bedding, it's perfect for my King platform bed since I don't like covers hanging down to the floor. I wish more bedding manufacturers would make products like this rather than everything oversized. This comforter is the perfect size and the quality is excellent and doesn't trap any cat hair. So the cats like it too :-)

I received this pillow for free from the manufacturer as a product test. I've been using a "normal" cotton-stuffed pillow for years, so it took a couple of nights to adjust to a new type of pillow. Now that I've been using for a while, I don't want to switch back! I generally lay on my back for a few minutes at night before rolling onto my side to go to sleep. While the design reminds me of a beanbag (small, shift-able pieces inside), I was pleasantly surprised to find that it provides very good support to my head and neck in either position. The shape of the pillow can be adjusted to prop the neck comfortably. The accompanying pillow case is very soft on the bamboo velour side. To me, it feels similar to the minky fabric used for baby blankets! The spandex side is more stretchy/smooth. It gives the pillow a "cool" touch.
