  • I LOVE. LOVE, LOVE this comforter!

Okay, I respectfully disagree with all of the negative reviews on this comforter. I am very finicky when it comes to bedding. I need it soft, durable and comfortable. This fits the bill in all areas! Butter soft and feels like you are wrapped in a marsh mellow cloud. It is satin people so yes, it will "catch" on your rough feet, as all satin does. I got it in sage which is a pretty light green and will be purchasing in charcoal. The coverage on a King is good with overhang on three sides and can cover pillows. It is very warm in our Michigan winters, but could see it being all season as well. There is double stitching for durability and it is machine washable. In my opinion, one of the best comforter buys I have ever made.

I bought a new mattress that is too firm. This makes my bed very comfortable and cozy. It is a little lumpy but the comfort makes up for the appearance!

  • Just for decoration

When I first received these pillows about a month ago, they were nice and firm and fluffy but not any more. I only use them for decoration - to fill my shams. I've never slept on them, only leaned back on them a few times during meditation (I'm not heavy) and they STILL flattened out and do not respond to re-fluffing. So if you're going to sleep on them, they'll be done in no time. Ok just for decoration.

  • Wonderful for CO winters

I have been happy with down and primaloft comforters purchased from Overstock but decided after reading the reviews to try this wool-filled one. It is a great purchase for the price--good quality, attractive on the bed, lying flatter and neater than the puffier alternatives. My husband loves the comforter, says he prefers the warmth and heavier weight of the wool. We live with colder winter temperatures in the Rockies, but as we have some heat in our bedroom, I find that I still prefer the lighter primaloft. I don't know whether it will shrink or not (hoping to wash on cold and hang dry). I bought the king size for a queen bed with extra deep mattress, as queens are often a bit skimpy, but the king runs large and hangs down almost too far on the sides of our bed, covering at least half the dust ruffle.
