  • It's not a Down Alternative...

It's an alternative to a Down Comforter. I had looked through so many comforters that I just had to choose something. I was freezing, and had purchased a down alternative comforter from Overstock a couple years ago for a similar price. First I will say-- it works. I am so warm and toasty under this comforter-- so much that I was sweating bullets in the middle of the night. Make sure you can pop a foot out for a while or something. It's 100% Polyester fill is most likely to blame. I guess a bunch of polyester is a good heat alternative to a Down, but I bet this thing is going to have me feeling like I've got my own private sweat lodge in the summertime. I ordered TWO of these comforters, and I was not disappointed. It is very soft and very warm. Great price and it is delivered to your front door--doesn't get any better than that!

  • Fluffy and decently firm

I bought the firmest density, and they seem like a perfect medium firmness to me. I suggest you get the firm ones if you don't know for sure what you want. It's pretty easy to take stuffing out, but you can't add stuffing to a too-soft pillow. Other "normal" firmness pillows from Overstock were incredibly flat and useless, so now I will err on the side of over-firm and remove stuffing if I have to.
