Don't waste your money
I guess anything that is not down could be considered a "down alternative". I have bought two other down alternative blankets for a similar price in the past and the quality was MUCH better. This is nothing more than a cheap 100% polyester blanket. When they say "light weight" they aren't kidding- it reminds of the cheap comforter sets I bought in college 20 years ago. It is a brand called "Cozy Nights" which is made in China after a quick google also seems to be sold at Kmart and Sears. I have always been happy with the quality of items I receive from Overstock but this is no deal. I will be returning it.

Ridiculously thin, nothing close to down
The blanket is very thin and weightless. It is not in any way comparable to a down blanket.

Price was too good to be true. Blanket is thin and not as advertised. keeping as too much trouble to return but do not recommend.

inexpensive down alternative
This is a microfiber blanket, which is very soft. Not sure how durable it will be. It can't be beat for the price.

down Alternative Blankets
Loved this blanket in dark brown. Ordered two more in gray and sage colors. I will be returning the "sage" because this green is NOT SAGE. Yuck, ugly shade of green, not a soft sage as shown. I will be exchanging because the blanket is very well made .

Down Alternative Blanket
While I like the design and colors offered and even the full fit for an oversize bed (King), the fill material is quite flat. The only resemblance to the popular down filled throws or coverlets is the box stitching. I doubt this product will keep you comfortably warm on cool nights. I already believe that it could not do the job on a cold night. I have got to shop for a winter alternative to this blanket. Maybe I was expecting too much but am disappointed in the flat appearance. All other details are very good. Just needs improvement in providing more fill material.

Down Alternative Blanket
The price of this blanket.....including shipping, is much less than if it had been purchased locally. The fabric is suitable for all-seasons, is very soft, and even more soft after washing and drying. The color of the blanket is a great dark blue.......not navy, not royal blue. I am so pleased with this blanket. I would purchase this again, and have told friends about my purchase.
