I love love love this comforter! It's the perfect weight for us Southern gals. Not too hot and not too cold. Just right, like the Three Bears! Ha-ha. Seriously, you won't be disappointed with this product. The microfiber is so soft and I bought the king size for my queen bed for more coverage because of my large mattress. Buy it - you won't be disappointed.
How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Perfect - I received the blue and it is a Wedgewood blue. Lovely
Please tell us about the quality of the product. Wonderful soft comforter. It's the perfect weight for warm summer nights.
How accurate was the on site description of the product? Excellent.
The comforter came and looked really nice, but we have a regular king sized bed and it came just short of midway down the sides of the bed, one in the bed it barely came to the edges leaving lot of "air conditioning". The comforter we were replacing wasn't has heavy but was a good 8 inches longer on all sides. It is a nice product when the bed is made, but not so great for sleeping. My husband took most of it the first night....
I was worried when I had to give up my down comforter, due to allergies, but this comforter is just as warm and cozy. I added a duvet cover on top to protect the comforter, but even without a cover it is soft and fluffy. I'm thinking about getting another for my guest room!
I got the king-sized one for a queen bed and it is just right. Maybe a bit small for king-sized beds. The comforter is soft and not too heavy but very warm. Makes us very comfortable even in a room with older/drafty aluminum windows during winter. I realized that the same comforter is also available in a set with pillow shams. I might have got that if I knew earlier. Washes and dries easily. It doesn't get very creased out of the dryer and the few creases go away quickly once spread on the bed. Would definitely recommend this comforter. I got the navy blue one and the color is nice.
I bought two of these comforters in navy blue for my boys bunk bed. I got both the single and double size. They are soft and warm and fit our needs perfectly. When you have two typically destructive boys you don't want to spend a fortune on furniture or bedding, so the price was right too. These blankets have held up well so far. They aren't too bulky, fit nicely on their bunk beds and keep the boys warm in the winter. I expect they will be perfect for summer as well.
Allergies led me to get rid of my down comforter. I chose this hypoallergenic, lightweight comforter- based on color, price and quality of review. The comforter is fine, but not as great as described? First, when I washed it (right out of the plastic), the batting in the top and bottom squares balled up and I had to manually work the fibers back into place. Due to allergies, I am supposed to wash the quilt once a week and don't think it will last that long because of the batting issue. In addition, I live in the south and the comforter said "lightweight", but it is heavier than summer weight. Better to use this comforter for cooler times. Overall, the purchase is fine, adequate and serviceable for basic needs, but I will keep looking....
This comfort has a good feel, but it does lump. I have a large capacity drier and I used tennis balls and it still lumped. You do have to spend some time pulling out the lumps, but overall it is worth the effort
The ONLY reason I am not rating this an Excellent is because I have not yet washed it, so I don't know how well it holds up in the laundry.
Otherwise, I am very happy with the weight and feel of this down-alternative comforter. I live in the PNW, so it is taking Spring/Summer awhile to show up. This keeps me plenty warm at night (I am usually on the colder side) and I stick my feet out from under for some air.
I ordered the White and it is very white! I also purchased a King sized, even though I have a Queen bed and it is leaving extra to hang over to the box springs.
Great comforter with solid stitching for an affordable price! I ordered a king for queen size bed and it works great. As others have described it is more smooth feeling and not as puffed up as other down comforters but I personally like the thickness of this comforter. It works thus far for the TN heat and it is not to heavy and smothering as other comforters. It is light and almost airy feeling. Will purchase again!
My son is in College. He likes his sheets and comforters in very soft material. This is my second comforter in a different size I am ordering for him. Very soft for the skin. Does not fall apart or fade when washing.
I ordered 5 of these. One big reason was because the wash instructions...machine wash. I recieved them. the wash instructions say can be machine washed, but in large print it said dry cleaned preferred. Said nothing in online about dry cleaning! Should I return them?gemdog123 on Jul 10, 2014Please enter a valid question.Answer This QuestionThere are no answers to this question yet, be the first to answer it.
Which color would go best with the Esprit Spice 5-piece quilt set? I was thinking of khaki, but maybe should go for chocolate? I need king size, and am pairing this with the coral and teal hemstitch sateen sheets. Thanks!snanco on Feb 27, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
