At first, I thought the set was too dark. But I bought some light blue throw pillows with brown accents and my guest room looks like a designer did it. My guests love the look and feel as though they're "in a 5-star hotel" (Their words not mine).

I like this bed spread and shams. It looks great with my bedroom decor.

This is a great coverlet set if you don't like heavy quilts or down quilts. I get too warm, so was looking for something light weight, and this fits the bill perfectly. I just took it off for the spring/summer season and had it dry-cleaned and it came out beautifully.

Love the quilt except for one thing--the color is dark chocolate brown, definitely not taupe as advertised.

I bought this for a friend because my dog ate his quilt and I wanted to replace it. I read the reviews before ordering so I knew the color would be much darker than what the picture shows. I actually needed chocolate and it is what I got! The pattern is exactly as shown and the texture is amazing: so soft and silky! I absolutely love it! It's thin indeed but I only got it to cover up the bed during the day. Honestly it's just awesome and I did not expect this good quality for something that I spent less than $50 on! I am buying another one today for myself! I truly love it!

The color of the coverlet was actually darker than presented in the picture. The coverlet was a gift to another person and I have not actually seen it on the bed. I think it presents more as a full-size than a queen size bed covering according to the recipient of the gift.

I learned the difference between a coverlet and a bedspread after purchasing. I have a King bed with mattress and tempurpedic topper. This is a coverlet. it does not cover the tall mattress well. It works width-wise. If we position it perfectly it will just cover the sides of the mattress to the tip top of the bedskirt. Lengthwise though, our pillows are out on top, or if we cover them, the foot of the bed is exposed. We have a sleigh bed. Those with no footboard will see mattress/sheets exposed. Bedspreads are more generously cut than coverlets if you want to cover the mattress to the bedskirts both width-wise and length-wise and cover the bedpillows. We are keeping this coverlet because it is a nice color, nice quality, and was a nice price. We are sacrificing coverage and a more attractively made bed.

I ordered this quilt looking for an alternative to a blanket during the summer months. This quilt is NOT as pictured. In fact, I do not even recognize the quilt shown in the photo. To say the quilt has a “sheen" is an understatement. It is very shiny and has a stitched pattern that I find unattractive. The color was also disappointing. The color shown is coffee-like and the quilt is actually milk chocolatey. I purchased it despite the negatiive reviews but it has since been returned.

Again the color is not as displayed in the on line photo. The real color is a much darker chocolate. That said, it is of good quality and the fabric has a sheen which adds to the presentation.

A good summer coverlet which is lightweight without being flimsy. Just the right weight. A perfect alternative to our big heavy comforter during the warm weather. The shams are a nice addition.

This is a nice looking quilt/spread. We ordered it in King for a queen bed, but it still required a bed skirt due to high/thick mattress. The color is slightly darker than the photo, more of a chocolate color, but rich looking. This product was purchased for my father, and he seems to be quite happy with it.

I purchased this set for a Wedding Shower Gift for my godson & future wife! I read the reviews that stated that this set is chocolate brown in color - which was just what I was looking for. It has a beatuiful pattern, very modern, and the sheen adds to the beauty of it! I hope they are as happy with it as I am! I have purchased 4 other quilt sets from Overstock and have been very pleased with every one!!

I purchased this coverlet set in a king size for my queen size bed. The fit is perfect enough you do not even have to add a bedskirt. The shams are oversized for my bed but gives it a grand look. I definitely agree that the color on the website is way off....this is chocolate brown and has a bit of a sheen to it. Due to the other reviews, that is why I purchased this cause I was looking for that particular color. I never buy anything without reading the reviews first.

I ordered this coverlet because I needed a quilted bed cover in a particular color. Namely, I needed the shade of khaki shown in the photograph used to sell this product. When ordering, the product was not shown to have addition colors to select from, and I was never made aware that what I would receive would be anything other than what was shown in the photograph. I have just received my coverlet, and it is a dark, unattractive chocolate-espresso brown. The color is far from what was ordered & I have every intention of returning it.

Even though the fabric its a little shinny it makes the quilt look elegant. It's really nice and very good quality.

As written elsewhere, the color is darker in reality than in the photo, but I like the color. Good warmth for the mid-weight bedspread. I bought a king-size for my queen so that it would hang to the floor.

The coverlet is nice. Only problem is it is shown as a light brown in the picture and we received a very dark chocolate brown. Pretty disappointed...
