Itchy Sheets
While the sheets were the right color, the feel was very disappointing. They felt scratchy and cheap. I probably shouldn't have expected much for the price, but most of the reviews raved about the surprising softness. I threw them out after 1 week and decided to spend twice the money on some good, quality sheets.

pillow cases too slim
Overall i think these sheets are nice enough:) They do shrink but seem to fit my 10 inch mattress without problem. The pillowcases shrank and are VERY narrow and long. Making our queen size pillow way too fluffy when in them. Consider buying separate pillow cases--maybe even splurge for organic cotton ones like I hope to do. There is a waffle/grid pattern in these and tactile sensitive people may find this bothersome. Didn't bother me, though.

poor quality
This was my first experience with 420 thread count egyptian cotton sheets. I thought that they going to be softer then sheets made from regular cotton. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The sheets are rough and unpleasant to sleep on. They got softer after 5 or 6 washing cycles. Pillow cases are narrow - my pillows look like sausage.

I wash this every day and at some point the cotton will soften and be comfortable. Meanwhile, avoid product unless you wanted chapped cheeks.

Not the heavy sheet I was looking for
These sheets are soft, the dobby weave is not as pronounced as I was hoping. I have a set of heavy dobby weave windowpane sheets I bought years ago somewhere and wanted another set. But they are heavy cotton and the dobby weave is like raised lines on the fabric. So consider the source here: I like stiff rough sheets!

When I washed the sheets I ended up with a hole in them.

Love these sheets--I have 4 sets
Wish they still were avail in Cal King, but I love the feel of them. Soft and the texture on them is great (windowpane). Def a good buy!
