'Dijon Bouquet' Quilt Set

Very nice quilt, perfect weight for all seasons. I took the suggestion of several others who ordered the king size for their queen but since I have a mattress only style bed (lower) I should have just stuck to the queen size for the correct fit. Washes well - very pleased except for my own mistake of ordering a bigger size.

Consistent with the other reviews posted, the color and design is true to the online picture. It's not masculine yet not an overly feminine in design. The weight is ideal for warmer climate. For now, we have it over an existing light weight comforter. The reason for an overall rating of 4 is due to the size. If you have a king size bed and want a quilt to fall over the bedskirt....then think again. On our king size bed the quilt is right at the top of the bed skirt. Since we are using it in order to be able to wash the bedding more frequently and easily as our white English Retriever likes to rest atop of our bed during the day.....it looks great. The quilt is certainly easier to wash and dry than a king size comforter on a regular basis.

As with all the items we have ordered from Overstock, this one did not disappoint. Queen size quilt and shams were just as described and the coverlet is ample and drapes nicely on the sides. A cream colored bed skirt (purchased separately) matches nicely. There is a little bit of yellow coloring that is faded in the background of the fabric and makes it look more authentically like a hand made quilt. The stitching is well done and the set gives a homey and peaceful feeling in our spare bedroom. We looked at a great deal of sets and this one was certainly excellent for the price - especially if you want 100% cotton and a less "puffy" look than that of a comforter. Because this is cotton, it will be more comfortable to sleep with than polyester or down.

I love this king-size quilt used on a queen size bed. I have learned to order the next size if I want to use it as a bed-spread/ comforter. The was a definite keeper for me. My monochromatic colors are serene for my bedroom. The quilting is tight and crisp. I would purchase this again.
