I purchased the comforter for our Master Bedroom. Our Black Lab sleeps with us and we have a German Shepard Grand puppy that visits us often so we needed a comforter that would withstand them. They love to jump on our bed so we needed a bed set that would handle the romping of two large dogs and the hair. My husband and I love the look and comfort of this bed set. We have only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far we are very happy with it.

I am so impressed with this. It has transformed my room. I feel like royalty as I go to sleep, and I do not want to leave the bed in the morning. It's a terrific value for all you get. You will not be disappointed.

This comforter is such great quality. I can't tell you enough how beautiful it is. I only wish it came in King because I would buy it again for my other son. You will not be disappointed. Made perfect and looks wonderful.

I am an extreme luxury beddingaholic and this is a magnificent bedding set. It is of superior quality and constantly gets rave reviews. The workmanship in the stitching is fabulous and it is of 5 star hotel quality. I purchased it in the fall and would look to purchase this brand again and again.

WOW!!! I could not be more thrilled with this set. I have never allowed myself to spend this much on my bedding before. The splurge (for me) was well worth it. Excellent quality and fabrics, beautiful colors. I was trying to find something in black and gold to match all the other accessories in my room...this was perfect. I was happy with the quality of the set. It looks very elegant on the bed. The long dust ruffle is perfect for high beds.

Totally luxurious, totally beautiful. I am genuinely impressed with this set. It would be worth so much more at retail!!! I am so glad I sent the other one back (I originally bought two sets for about the same price as this one, one never shipped, so I sent the other back and replaced it with this one.) I know quality, this is an impressive set. It is very large, it comes down past the top of the bed skirt, has two sets of three pillows across the back rather than two (king). Really sets a nice mood for the bedroom. If you are looking for a quality black set, this is ideal.

The picture wasn't a true depiction of the product. The item looked cheap and it felt rough to the touch.

I am still waiting for the bed to be delivered. Can't wait for the mattress to get here so I can dress it up. I can't speak for the comfort yet, but I have no doubt it will be great! The overall appearance is just beautiful!

We are building a new house and I have been searching for a comforter set for my son¿s room. He is 26 and on his own but comes home of course to visit. After looking at this set several times and reading the reviews I decided to go ahead and order. I can't tell you how glad I am that I decided to order. This set is above and beyond what I expected. This was the first time I have ordered anything from Overstock and I have to say I was beyond pleased. I am very particular and had shopped several stores and different sites for just the right comforter set. This set is beautiful and very well made. Everyone that sees it can't believe what I paid for it. I am so happy that I found it and highly recommend it!

In the photos this comforter looks great. In person, it is much more black (it actually looks dark blue).I was expecting more gold on the comforter but only the bottom third has gold accent color. It is very expensive to return. The comforter is about 50% thinner than my other comforter, not ideal for cold weather states.

I looked for the right set for months--resisting the impulse to get something that would be okay in pursuit of something perfect. The gold/black might not work for everyone, but if it is for you, this set can't be beat in any category. I've had raves about it. I read lots of reviews and stopped myself from purchasing a few times when the reviews said the comforter was skimpy and didn't have enough of a drop. This is generous in every way. Keep it up, Overstock!

I purchased this comforter set for my sons guest room, he redecorated after restoring his home after Hurricane Ike! I was so disappointed it was not available in King Size at the time I ordered this for his extra bedroom. It is simply magnificent! To my surprise and elation, the set showed back up on Overstock.com in KingSize!!!! I was so thrilled with the first set, I ordered a King Size one for his Master Bedroom! His home is in khaki and black and the colors in this bedding are absolutely perfect!!! It simply could not be any better! The quality is all I expect from Overstock! The value is amazing, check for yourself, enter this bedding set into your search engine and you will see it retails for better than $500. on some sites! I give it 5 stars on every single category, it deserves more than that!!!!

This is probably the most exquisitively constructed comforter set I have ever seen--at any price! And it's extra wide so there's no problem with my extra-deep pillow top mattress.

The look is amazing. When you enter the bedroom, it is just beautiful. Additionally, the quality is terrific. We read the reviews on the set before we purchased it and when we received we were more impressed than the reviews that we read. It is nice and heavy and they did not spare any expense when making it. An amazing value. The 3 pillows and 4 pillow shams will cost you at a department store that same as you paid for the whole set. The pillows are beautiful and the shams are large and equally beautiful. If you have any concerns about this set, don't. You will love it just as much as we do. After we receive the set, we took a shame to the paint store to pick our paint colors for the wall. We got a golden colored paint that compliments the set incredibly. It is just beautiful.

Looks great in my room...has gold tones and I painted the walls a medium goldish beige. The added benefit is that it seems sturdy enough that a three year old can rough and tumble on it without damage. (As well as my cat). The only small drawback for me is that it has to be dry cleaned. All in all I am very happy with this purchase.
