I ordered these sheets because they were advertised as "cotton" When they arrived I was dismayed to see that really they are a cotton/polyester blend. I returned them, not at all pleased that they were falsely advertised.

We are very happy with our sheets purchase from Overstock. We shopped around and this sheet set was the best value we found when considering thread count, pieces in set, color and cost. This particular sheet set is perfect for over-sized, pillow top mattresses; no issues fitting with room to spare -- the sheets never pop off the mattress. These sheets may not be the best choice for cold winter months, depending on personal preferences as they are fairly thin - however, that is absolutely counteracted by our down duvet. Shipping and packaging were speedy and as expected. Thanks.

The sheets are soft, cool, not to heavy or thin, beautiful and exactly what I was looking for to replace my older sheets. The only thing with them is that the stripes on the fitted sheet go in the opposite direction as the flat sheet on our king size bed. My husband and I don't really care about this issue but some might. The price and the quality are much more important. They have been washed several times and are super soft and luxurious and I have not had an issue with wrinkling when they are taken right out of the dryer. Great sheets for the price!!

the description reads: Constructed of 600 thread count cotton... they just arrived... cotton and polyester. I would NEVER have bought sheets that weren't pure cotton. They are being returned tomorrow, and I am out the cost of shipping a HEAVY package back. When I was trying to figure out how to write this review I saw 'fine print' at the bottom of the page that does indicate cotton and polyester. But I trusted the product description. VERY disappointed in Overstocks!

Love the sheets in spite of several frustrations. They are wrapped in a ribbon that says 100% cotton, however they are a blend. I hope they don't end up being hot, but I know that polyester has been vastly improved in recent years by being microfiber thread. The color is a muted turquoise, exactly what I was hoping Blue Haze would be, so I am pleased with that. And they come with 4 pillowcases, and I am happy about that, since we always have 4 pillows on the bed. However, here is where I get less than happy. The pillowcases are all standard size in my California King set. The package says it should have king cases, in fact I sent them back once and received an identical set with standard cases. It isn't worth contacting customer service yet again for the same problem, so I will have to use non matching cases for our king pillows.

I got these sheets as a treat to myself, and I am happy I did. Never before have I washed a set of sheets after taking them off my bed and then put them right back on. They are comfortable. The deep fit is a bit big on my bed (I have a tempurpedic) but even with the excess cloth they are the most comfortable sheets that I have slept on (and my mother is a sheet junkie, so its saying something).

I am very pleased to add this set to my Master Bedroom sets. California King Deep Pockets - are very hard to find, and they fit my bed beatifully. They have been washed several times since purchase and are not showing any piling as reported by another user. I have more expensive sheets in my rotation, but find I am putting these back on more often. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the duo-tone, but it looks really nice. These are GREAT sheets for the price, and I would purchase again

I LOVE these sheets! Love them. High quality, something you would expect at a upscale hotel (now, if someone would just change my sheets daily!), and the Cal King came with four king pillow cases. Nice touch. Fit my 16" mattress perfectly.

I didn't know the term "high thread count" could be applied to polyester, so I guess they got me on a technicality. The sheets look nice but are too uncomfortable to sleep on. And for this price, they should really be high-thread-count cotton, not a cheap blend. Not worth returning for a "partial refund," whatever that would be, since I opened the package. But I can't use them.

the description of this product is completely misleading! I figured out that it was cotton-polyester blend only after I washed it! I abstain from synthetic fabrics as a matter of principle, and the last place I want to have them at is in my bed! will have to be more careful reviewing the product description when I shop here for linens, IF I ever go back to shop for linens!

Since it is 600 Thread, I don't even think about to check the material. Until I open the package, I notice that it is not 100% cotton. I still put it on. It is not as soft or comfortable as I hope. But I guess for summer time, it would be fine. The material makes me feel cooler. Washed once. Seems fine. But totally don't get the 600 Thread feeling.

These Sheets arrived in only a few days and the colors were even richer than I expected based on the web pictures. The fit, comfort and overall quality are great. i've looked "Everywhere" both on foot and online and I feel these are a great value. The 55% cotton and 45% Polyester mix doesnt bother me at all. Pull them out of the dryer while they are still warm and you'll have very minimal wrinkle issues.

be aware that these sateen sheets are only partly cotton with a poly mix. other wise they are nice.

The sheets seem rather light weight for 600 thread count.
