Two years ago, I bought two sets of "Delray Sateen Cotton Blend 600 Thread Count STRIPED 6-piece Sheet Set" (from Overstock) because they washed so softly, and they held up nicely with the abuse we put them through (including three large dogs). I loved slipping into the sheets at night. I bought this set in ivory, and they seemed fine—much thinner than the other two sets I purchased. The big disappointment was after I washed them, the hems were coming undone. The O staff sent me a replacement, free of charge. The unfortunate thing about this set is (after two months of use) it's starting to strip. I can see lines where the threads are going to give throughout the fitted and flat sheets. I won't be buying these again. Pros: They don't pill, are light enough for a summer set, and the ivory was rich and pretty.
These sheets have been washed several times and the color has held. I have not slept on them myself as they are for my guest bedroom, but my guests have told me that they are very soft and comfortable. I would definitely purchase these again either in the same or other colors.
The corners have pulled apart and separated after just a few months of use. I can't even resew them because the fabric is shredded in that area. I purchased 2 sets and both are shredded at the corners. My mattress isn't even oversized! The color has also faded out and lost its luster.
