I've had this for about 2 years now. The color says 'platinum', but it's more tan than silver. The picture online is way off. I kept it anyway because I like the style. I'm not using the sheets anymore because they kept sliding up on the corners - annoying. The comforter, shams, and bedskirt still look great, though.

As I had read the reviews, I was not expecting it to be anywhere near metal/gray as it appears; it's definitely more in the neutral brown family. Anyhow, it's PERFECT and we LOVE it. We've had it about 6 months now and it's still like new. It's *incredibly* warm and we can't use it now that it's getting warmer, but it's our fall/winter set and makes me feel like I'm staying in the lap of luxury instead of just in my bedroom at home. I love it and it was worth much more than I had to pay for it; my best overstock purchase to date!

I LOVE my new bedding, but I would warn others to take a good look at it. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it really isn't that "platinum" - it's more of a champagne-ish color. It still looks great with our black furniture. Overall, it's great and the slight color difference isn't worth sending it back.

The comforter is great, as are the bedskirt and the pillow covers, but the sheets are rough. I disagree with a previous comment about the color scheme. The comforter has brown undertones, and the sheets are cream.

I read the reviews before I purchased the bedding. I knew that it was more brownish than platinum. It's beautiful and goes great with my decor.

I bought this in hopes it would be like the pictures. SILVER AND BLACK! ITS CHAMPAGNE. I had read all of the reviews when i bought it and no one had said that.....but when i recieved it OVER A MONTH LATER....come to find out alot of ppl had the same problem with the color not being what was advertised. Just a warning....what you see is not always what you get.

I love it!!!! I was a little disappointed in the color, the picture looks like a platinum/silver color. It is more of a champagne/pueter. Once my walls were painted it looked GREAT!!!!!! Very elegant and have had a TON of compliments. The sheets are very soft!!!!

This set is very elegant, the picture does not do the set justice. One side very dressy and beautiful the other side a little less dressy but just as beautiful. Quailty of work and fabric are the best I have seen around.

The king bed ensemble is a great value. We use it with the strip side up so it is more masculine and not as busy. The color is definitely plantinum. It looks grey in the picture but it is tanner then that. It really makes the bed look formal and beautiful.

This comforter set is a great buy for the price! I love the look of it - has a nice sheen to it, and the tiny pleats on the bedskirt really add to the overall look. The only thing I was disappointed in was the quality of the sheets - they are very thin, and won't last very long. But that's easily remedied by replacing with a different set. The comforter set itself and the shams and bedskirt are great quality and here's hoping they last for a long time!

This set is a great value for the money. I have purchased sets for alot more money and the quality doesn't come close this. It is great for all seasons and the color is neutral and goes with anything. Washes well also. Fast shipping too!

Once again, Overstock has not let me down. The color isn't quite as silver/gray as I thought it would be, but its really nice. I also purchased the Royal Velvet oversized pillows for the Shams so they would be nice and full and I wasn't disappointed. Can't wait to get it set up - waiting for new paint on the walls first! Glad I waited until I got it as it definitely has made a difference in the shade I'm selecting - have to use a cool color now and not a warm one as I originally planned.

I purchased this set thinking the color was a dark silver and grey. Even one review said the colors were exactly as described. This is not the case. It is in fact a chocolate brown. I was extremely disapointed. However, since the quality was good, and the price right, I purchased a silver comforter cover to go over it. It is a shame though, because it is a nice set, just not any where near the color they claim it to be.

This is a beautiful set. It's not as silver as I expected. It's kind of brown. The sheets could be softer. Great value and looks great. The detail on the shams is gorgeous.

This bedding assemble is just absolutely beautiful! I have never been disappointed when purchasing from overstock although I only usually purchase bedding assembles from there website a couple times a year. I just love the prices you pay for really really nice quality bedding. I mean you pay the cheapest prices at overstock for bedding assembles and you get really GREAT quality bedding.This bedding is really nice, true to the picture showed colors and all!
