I don't think my husband has ever even noticed the bedding before, let alone comment on it. But these have become known as "the nice sheets". They are very soft and sturdy, so with just a light blanket they keep you warm on crisp fall nights. But in the summer, by them self, they are surprisingly breathable. They were a little pricey, but having used/washed them several times, I think they are going to last. Only criticism was that I thought the color would be more slate gray from the picture, but it is a warm gray (almost brown). Attractive, but not exactly what I had expected.
The product is nice, has a nice hand and being organic is a definite plus. However, the pillowcases are far too large (side by side they are wider than a standard queen bed). I would have kept this product had it included standard/queen size pillowcases.
I was nervous about buying white sheets, and as I'd feared, they are very hard to keep white. I bought them because I thought they'd have extra softness and breathability from the rayon, but there isn't enough to make a difference. They are well-constructed, but I found them overpriced and underwhelming.
These sheets are very soft and comfy. Several years ago I acquired some 50/50 bamboo/cotton sheets and love them. Of course, they have been discontinued and I have been searching for a similar set for quite awhile. Also, the top sheet had to be long enough to tuck in the bottom of an 18 inch mattress. Most are not - even though they claim to fit these large mattresses. These sheets have the extra length needed and are not overly thin. Am not a fan of the super thin sheets , so the 400 thread count is about right for us. Have washed them twice so far and they seem well-made. I am very pleased with this choice.
I expected these sheets to be much softer given the type of fabric and thread count. They are slightly better than other sheets I have purchased at a lower cost, but not much. Overall I would say they are in the average quality range yet cost more.
