This is our second comforter. The first was replaced on the basis that it was thought to be defective. NOW ... we know it is a bad product. It took hardly 2 months to see that the down was shifting to the edges leaving the center flat and empty. Obviously, the baffle system is incapable of keeping the down evenly distributed. Don't waste your time. I cannot believe that there are ANY positive reviews.

I did a ton of research and was really afraid about getting a down comforter online. A lot of these reviews are going back to like 2006, and will have 1000 great reviews and 25 people saying not to believe the other 1000 and that the comforter is crap. When I opened the box, I was so angry. The comforter was thin and did not have the gusseted edges the photo indicated. But within just 1 hour, it more than tripled in size and has been so warm and thick and fluffy and light ever since. I looked at all sorts of quaility and price ranges for comforters. the fact is, unless you go to a company that handcrafts their comforters every step of the way ( and charges over $500) the comforter will say 75% down. Looking at this thing, I see and feel 100% down. The quality and fill wieght are comparable to $900 heavyweight comforters I was looking at at *****. The fill is even and the baffling works. Sure, it might not last a lifetime, but for the price it would be a steal if it lasted a couple years. This is by far the best deal for down comforters on overstock right now.

I'm a guy--I don't pay much attention to all the fine print. I see the ratings, I take a gamble. Second, as a guy, I don't spend much time shopping on overstock, or spending time writing reviews about fluffy things. My experience with this however, deserves the attention. 1 year ago, I purchased this thing--and it was good to start--no complaints. Shortly thereafter, probably close to 4 months--it flattened, and began to shed feathers. And I don't mean a little bit here and there--I mean it got EVERYWHERE---enough so that I had to get a cover--and the cover didn't even help! So then I bought a zip-tight cover--and that worked. But I had to wash it, right? Well, when it came out of that zip tight cover, it was basically a pile of feathers that I had to open outside. I cant bring it inside, because the air starts to look like a goose just exploded--and it gets everywhere! Anyway--I'm not sure why this thing decided to go all crazy on me, I don't do anything irregular--I just sleep on it, just me. It's currently in a plastic bin, and I am reticent to take it out from there, because even if i take it outside, I swear those stupid mini feathers are polarized, because there's no escaping them. Open it up outside? BAM right all over your clothes--then you go inside, and all over your house. Word to the wise---310 count is not enough to contain the deadly feathers which will remain dormant for 6 months. Once they awaken however, you best pray to the god of comforters that your faith is stronger than the 310 threads containing the wrath of hundreds of geese.

We've had this comforter for 6 months now and it's very fluffy and has held its shape very well. It's obviously too warm for our Georgia summers, but perfect for the rest of the year. We are very satisfied with this purchase

A year or two ago I purchased a similar comforter from overstock for basically the same price and unfortunately this one is not living up to the standard set by the old one. I understand this is a "medium-warmth" comforter, which I would say is a relatively accurate description, it is overall quite thin. Certainly doesn't have that fluffy/poofy feel that you expect from a down comforter. I would say this is no more than 3/4 of an inch wide in the widest area (This has been on my bed for 2ish weeks now, so it has certainly had time to fluff out, if it was going to)... one of the bad aspects of buying something like this online, for sure. Overall though, it's not a bad comforter for the price.

There were so many to choose from that it was a bit difficult to decide, but I am very happy with my choice. It's the perfect in-between weight and warmth. Not too heavy, not too light. It's a quality product that looks like it will last me a very long time!

I love it, it is just a little lighter in weight than I thought it would be.

After two months on my bed, virtually 100% of the feathers have relocated to the edges of this comforter. It is nothing more than a $99 top sheet. It provides no warmth. Even out of the box, it had no poof or fluff to it. It is not what was advertised. I cannot believe anyone would rate this anything above 1 star unless all they wanted was a sheet. I am trying to get Overstock to give me my money back -- I am so disgusted with this product!!

I bought this comforter after reading several reviews that this one didn't shed any feathers, I have feathers EVERYWHERE! And washing didn't help. VERY dissappointed!!

I didn't like this product. I used it for 6 weeks and there were feathers all over my bed. Also it doesn't have that fluffy/poofy feel that you expect from a down comforter. I tired of cleaning the feathers that I had to buy another one.

I bought this comforter as I needed something for the Fall that would not be quite as heavy as my winter comforter (also a great quality from o.co). I haven't needed to switch to my winter comforter as this one is very warm! It's a nice comforter and good quality, just if you are looking for something not quite as toasty, you may need to try a lower fill.

This comforter is pretty thin, especially when the down moves to the bottom of the duvet. I have to fluff it and move the down back to the top several times a week.

I'm happy with the transaction and I would recommend this seller.

I really love my new comforter. I was unsure about buying one online and just basing my whole purchase on a few reviews, but I'm really happy that I did. Yes, the box was small and I was unsure that the comforter would actually expand right out of the package, but it did! Its really warm (sometime too warm for me) and the feathers are evenly distributed, so its not clumpy or uncomfortable at all. Its a great price and it arrived early!

Bought this for my daughter who tells me it is "perfect". I always go to the O for bedding first. Best values.

I have a queen size bed but ordered the king size and would recommend this size. As some have mentioned, some pockets have less filling then others. I don't find this to be a problem. Once it's in the duvet cover it doesn't matter. Keeps us warm at night and the size keeps it on the bed. Would recommend.

Using the same number of ounces my last comforter had, I had hoped this comforter was just as big and fluffy, but it isn't. It's much thinner. It is warm enough right now, but probably not for the winter. It also doesn't breath as well as my other comforter. I needed an Eastern King size, and I think the King is actually for a California King -- it's not as wide as my Eastern King duvet cover. Overall, it works alright, but I wish I had spent more and got a better comforter.

It seems like a great comforter for the price. I wasn't looking for anything really hot. Husband, cat, kid, the occasional hot flash.... I just don't need arctic survival down, but I do like the weight of blankets. This fits the bill. Good weight, plenty of squares sewn in to hold the down, good fluff, just the right heat.

As many others have commented, it looks scary-thin when you first pull it out of the box... even a few hours later. BUT, give it a couple days and it fluffs up perfectly. We have ours in a duvet cover and from night 1, it has transformed our bed into a luxurious retreat. WE LOVE IT! It has stayed nice and fluffy and hasn't shifted. Not too heavy, so during colder months we have an extra blanket/quilt, but as we transition from a Colorado spring to summer and remove the extras, I think this comforter is going to be the perfect weight. Very happy with this purchase.
