Great Purchase

The Shower Curtain Rod was an excellent addition to our remodeled condo bathroom. It looks great and adds needed space to the shower. Very happy with this purchase.

works, even in a small bathroom!
Anonymous  from Lehigh Valley, PA,  Jul 9, 2009

I was worried about this working in our tiny bathroom... but, as both my husband and I are of "larger size" we wanted more room in the shower... and it works great! Totally worth the price, as he almost bought it somewhere else for 90 bucks.

What a waist of money. Construction on the rod is pathetic. Don't buy this.

Positive review
from Houston Texas,  Feb 1, 2012

This is a wonderful shower curtain. I placed it upstairs in my extra bath. I measured to make sure it fits. My measurement where 59in. The shower rod was a little too long. I purchase a pipe cutter for $7.00 and took off maybe 1/2 in. and it work perfect.

Good buy
from Western NY State,  Feb 1, 2011

I was very pleased with the quality of the rod. It is definitely a two person mounting job. It is a pleasure to not feel like I am fighting the shower curtain because of the added roominess. My shower area is small but this is an excellent fit! Never having had the experience to compare I rated it four stars.

Great Rod!!
from Sunny Florida!!,  Jan 29, 2011

I recieved this without any damage, Overstock again had great pricing. The rod came with hardware that was inadequate for this sort of installation but we used our own anchor bolts and screwed the rod in and what a difference the inside of the small tub makes with this curved rod. I bought the shiney chrome to match everything else in my bath I only hope it stands up to the humidity and water and doesn't pit or rust anywhere because right now it looks great! Thx Overstock!!

Perfect!
from Kettering, OH,  Dec 29, 2010

I wanted to remove the shower doors from my tub because it seemed like mold or crud had gotten between the doors (and only 5 years old too boot!) and under the seals where I couldn't get it out. It's a small tub/shower to begin with and I thought this would give us more room. I found this one on Overstock but it was sold out so I put in a request for it when it came back in stock. Only took a couple of weeks and they sent me an email to notify me. Nice feature. The curved rod arrived in 3 days. Nicely crafted and appears to be a good quality rod. Super easy installation; had it up and the new curtain/liner on within an hour. My bathroom looks bigger! My husband is impressed!

Good Deal
from Memphis, TN,  Dec 6, 2010

I had trouble finding a polished brass curved cutain rod that I could afford. This was an excellent deal. It is good looking and sturdy. It does need two people to put it up. The main thing I liked is that it is adjustable as I was surprised to find that when I measured the openeing to my tub area it was not exactly 5 ft. I would recommend this to anyone.

Love it!
from Glen Mills, PA,  Nov 24, 2010

The brass color of the rod looks rich, and the curve makes it look elegant. But the main attraction is when you stand in the bathtub, inside the curtain, & appreciate the extra space you have. It feels very luxurious & spacious. My husband installed the rod by himself with no problems. My bathroom now has a great new look & feel.

Good product, solid material
from Dallas, TX,  Oct 3, 2010

I just purchased and installed the chrome shower rod. The rod itself is solid metal, and in theory the installation should have been a breeze... 6 screws and 6 anchor bolts... that's it. The cons I ran into are that the 3/16's drill bit that is specified in the instructions did not create a big enough opening for the anchor bolts that were included in the package (I installed the rod over tile). So I had to use a bigger drill bit to make a larger hole in the ceramic tile to fit the anchor bolts. The fit was fairly loose. Fortunately, the 59" rod was a very snug fit in my setup, so I'm not concerned about it coming off. The chrome was bubbled and peeling on one of the ends of rod, but not enough to warrant a hassle sending it back. Either way, its a good looking rod and very functional. You get what you pay for on the price, but aesthetically its very pleasing. I'm hoping it lasts.

Nice
from The West Coast,  Sep 26, 2010

I love the shower rod -- it really does give you a little more space in the shower and gives the illusion of a lot more space. Feels very sturdy once installed (due to the three screws on each side), which is so much nicer than the contact shower rods. I installed it by myself with no problem (and I'm a woman, by the way!)
