The pad has a great top however the stretchy fabric used to secure it on the mattress slips off and has to be replaced every morning. When it slips off it takes the bottom fitted sheet with it. I solved this problem by using those clips on the corners.Read More
So happy that this mattress pad had a very large and strong elastic border that easily and completes hugs my deep mattress and does not slip off when removing the sheets. The pad portion is smooth and thick and is great for protecting my expensive bed -- very satisfied.Read More
it is great and has lasted a long time.....Read More
I did struggle to get it on the mattress but with such a snug fit, it does shift just what was happening with my previous mattress pad. Would definitely recommend this purchase. Another great purchase from O!Read More
I have a deep 18" pillow top queen mattress and couldn't find a mattress pad that wouldn't get sucked out from under the mattress and this one does a great job with a very deep fit and lots of elastic that tucks snuggly under the mattressRead More
I was really looking forward to getting this cover since it looked just like what I was searching for and was deep enough to fit. However, when I put it on the last corner, it ripped wide open at the side seam. I was so disappointed since everything else was right about it. Since it was such a bulky item I decided to sew it up myself rather than go through the hassle of returning it. The last thing I expected to do was repair a brand new item.Read More
This mattress pad is of very good quality. I plan to purchase another one for our guest room as it is very comfortable. As usual it was delivered on time (which was speedy). I could have gotten one at a local department store, but knew that I was getting a much better deal at Overstock.com. I shop at Overstock.com because I trust that I will receive excellent, honest service and save money on high quality products. I love getting the emails and looking at the deals.Read More
Mattress top is plush with deep pockets, however, when pulling the sides down over the mattress corners your fingers easily go through the material; as well, material pulls away from the top mattress covering. Very poorly crafted. Would not purchase again. Very surprising because this is not the Croscill quality I have been accustomed to in the past.Read More
I have never been disappointed w/Croscill. This pattress pad is on my bed on top of a 4" thick mattress topper and it still fits the mattress just fine. It held up just fine through the wash and I don't have to worry about pulling it tightly at the corners, no ripping has happened. I would recommend it and it was a good price.Read More
I wanted a mattress cover for my king bed that would protect the mattress but keep me cool. I was interested in a modest price and easy to clean, and this fit the bill. Good value for the money. It was a bit difficult to put on the bed by myself, but I like the way it fits around the entire sides of the mattress. I am happy with it.Read More
Questions & Answers
Hello marishell, we are still researching this and should have the answer shortly.
Can i know the thickness of this mattress pad?
Thank you for your question, aung. The Croscill Egyptian Cotton Mattress Pad has 6.0 ounces of fill. That is considered moderate. Some of our products have specs with much more fill which would make the a loftier pad. Basically, the thickness is measured by the ounces of fill. Have a great day.
Will this pad fit on a normal size queen bed mattress that is about 10" high? 20" skirt sounds like there might be too much extra fabric on the sides.
The queen size option can fit a normal queen size mattress nicely.
I have had this mattress pad for over a year and washed a couple times. The top of the pad will fit the queen bed as for the sides they are made of a good fabric that really stretches. It will wrap under the mattress and stays in place. I don't think it matters how tall the mattress is. I have a tall mattress with topper and it goes right under there. Even with a shorter one I think it will work great due to the way it is made
Does the backing on this pad have a crinkle sound or a soft feel. Please describe it as best you can by the feel and sound.
It is soft and quiet.
I need clarification of the dimensions stated for a king. Your details state it is 70" x 80" which would be impossible to fit a king bed. Hopefully this is actually a 78" x 80".
The dimensions for the king size are 76 inches wide x 80 inches long.
Is this mattress pad waterproof?
It appears that this mattress pad is not waterproof.
