Excellent Mattress Cover
from Clearwater, FL,  Dec 11, 2007

I bought this cover in king size to fit over a 2" foam topper on a mattress that is padded on both sides. I am very pleased with the fit and the feel. The sides are not the flimsy type that you find on a lot of mattress covers and the extra padding makes a world of difference. Excellent cover and great price!!

Mattress pad not what I expected
 from Colorado,  Oct 5, 2011

I would not recommend this product. The pad was full enough but the sides of this pad are made of a very thin nylon. As I was putting the pad on my finger nail puctutured into the material. I was even afraid to tug it to tuck it under the mattress. Very poor quality

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? This was not a factor
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Poor!!I was disappointed with this product! The side of this pad are made of a see through nylon. When putting the pad on, my nail went through the material...paper is stronger than this nylon.
  • How accurate was the on site description of the product? description did NOT mention what material the sides were made of, pnly that it was light weight.

croscill mattress pad
 from Missouri,  Oct 11, 2011

To install the queen size, plan on a helper to get it stretched on to the corners. It took me a lot of pulling and tugging and running around the bed to get it in place. In the process a corner tug pulled a hole in the corner of the stretchy part.

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? color accurate
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. fluff accurate
  • How accurate was the on site description of the product? spot on

Outstanding Mattress Pad
from Monterey, CA,  Apr 27, 2011

When this arrived, it was fluffy and soft. I washed it and it was still fluffy and soft. You will have a great night's sleep on this mattress pad.

Okay thus far, but not washed yet
 from LA,  Aug 16, 2010

It is a bit premature for me to rate this which is why I gave it 4 stars. The true test of this mattress pad will be whether it comes out of the wash in perfect condition (without tears or shrinkage). Otherwise, it is a good fitting pad which does not require a lot of manuevering when you put it on. My husband complains about the fact that it is not soft (unlike our mattress topper), but that's not a big deal to me b/c our sheets are soft and ultimately, it is the mattress that is supposed to provide you comfort, not the mattress pad. I agree with the folks who wrote that the Croscill label is no where on the packaging. I find that to be a bit strange. I'm hoping Overstock is not pulling my leg on this.

Great Mattress Pad
from Tampa, FL,  Apr 5, 2009

We recently purchased a new king-size bed that has a 13" mattress and I needed to find a sturdy mattress pad to cover it. The Croscill pad we ordered was perfect. The sides were easy to pull around the mattress, with room to spare. I am a frequent customer of overstock.com because the quality of their merchandise is excellent. This pad is another example of their high quality selections.

a good sleep
from Troy, Mi.,  Apr 1, 2009

Have been using this product for over a week now and I'm so pleased with it. From the moment It was placed on the bed, I could see the perfect fit. I have a 2 inch foam on the top and the generous depth was one feature I was looking for. The entire mattress top was amply covered and it does not slip around or wrinkle under the sheets. The quality seems very fine. I am definetly recommending this product to others.

This mattress pad is fantastic! It is of the best quality, comfortable and the fit is perfect. It even fit over my mattress and the 4 inch memory foam mattress topper that I recently purchased through Overstock. You cannot beat the quality for the price!

WHAT A DEIFFERENCE
from PHILADELPHIA, PA,  Mar 16, 2008

I BOUGHT THIS WITH THE 3-inch Highloft Memory Foam Mattress Topper, THE 2 TOGETHER ON MY 15 YEAR OLD BED MADE IT LIKE NEW. YOU CAN SEE THE LINES FROM THE PAD ( YOU DON'T FEEL THEM) ON YOUR SHEETS BUT MY COMFORTER HIDES IT WHEN IT'S MADE. THE POCKETS ARE DEEP AND IT DOESN'T SLIDE.

Awesome bargain
 from SD,  Mar 15, 2008

I bought this to go over my Serta 4 inch foam mattress I bought at Overstock. It covers both the foam mattress and the top king mattress. What a bargain and great quality too. I wouldn't hesitate to order this one again. Whenever I need something, I always check this website first.

Croscill 600TC Pima Mattress Pad
from St. Charles, MO,  Mar 4, 2008

I have had many mattress pads and nothing tops this Croscill. If you have an oversized mattress this is the best offer out there with superb quality! I highly recommend it and Overstock has a great price!

I really thought I'd love this mattress pad...
from New Hampshire,  Apr 5, 2012

My previous mattress pad was a Croscill and it washed up softer and softer each time, rarely shifted on the bed and the only reason I stopped using it was due to upgrading from a queen bed to a king. This model, however, doesn't cut it. It shifts so bad I have to remake it at least every second day (maybe this is a function of my memory foam mattress, this is my first time with memory foam so I'm not sure, but would not recommend this product if you own one). What's worst is the fabric surrounding the pad. I have had this just about one year, and it got its first tear maybe 4 inches or so after a few months. It was fine for maybe six more months, but in the past 3-4 it has ripped in multiple places, both while putting it on if not EXTREMELY careful and even in the night while sleeping (and it is not weakened from over-washing as it gets washed infrequently being too bulky for my machine at home forcing me to take it to the cleaners). I know this brand has been great before, but this model was really a disappointment. I just ordered the king lambswool mattress pad on Overstock and am looking forward to it. Memory foam owners should consider it, even though it is expensive, as most reviews say it keeps the memory foam, which has a tendency to really heat, up a lot cooler.

Perfect for guest bed
from Sedona, AZ,  Mar 20, 2012

I purchased this for our guest bed. We have guests at least once a month and the mattress pad is perfect. It adds just a bit of padding, washes beautifully, and stays in place. It is perfect for a deeper mattress.

Not recommended
from St. Louis Mo,  Jan 10, 2012

The mattress pad is suppose to fit a double bed. The problem is, it is about four inches not wide enough and two inches to short. You would have to get a queen size to fit a double.

Poor Quality
 from DC,  Dec 31, 2011

When we attempted to put the mattress pad on the bed the very first time, the skirt ripped the full length of one of the long sides. I've never seen that happen before. The material was very cheap.

Cheap corners, tears like paper.
from So Cal,  Dec 29, 2011

Looks good, fair price but it is poorly made. As I was putting it on 2 corners ripped. It didn't take any force to tear through the paper thin material. I'm not happy but I'll keep it.

Croscill High Loft 600 Thread Count Mattress Pad
from Wilton, CA,  Dec 21, 2011

Worst mattress pad ever!! You would think Croscill would know the correct dimensions for a king size mattress. A king size mattress is 78x80, for some reason this mattress pad is 76x80. The sides are made of a material that is smilar to a handi wipe. Because the mattress pad is not sized correctly, each time you try to put it on the bed you get two or three more holes in the side. this mattress pad is incredibly overpriced compared to the low, low, low quality, Really disappointed and embarrassed to admit I paid so much for it thinking this would be a quality product.
