Soft & thick
This is an excellent mattress pad @ an excellent price. The cover is 100% cotton, great for sensitive skin. The cover is very thick & helped give a bit of life to our 9 year old mattress. Since it's cotton, it doesn't make any noise & does not itch through the sheets... as my skin cannot tolerate polyester thread. Once we got a new pillow top that also has memory foam, & found that this mattress pad had so much loft, that we sunk into our mattress too much, so we switched to a thinner mattress pad with less loft... and are keeping this one for when our pillow top mattress gets old. ;-) We have a 15" mattress & this pad fit over it no problem. If you have a non-pillow top mattress or an older mattress, this mattress pad is excellent. The elastic sides stretch & cling to the underside of the mattress, so the pad does NOT move at all. Easy to change sheets w/o having to worry about pulling off the mattress pad. Excellent!

Best I've Ever Had!!
When I was shopping for a mattress pad I looked everywhere, on and off line. This Croscill 500 tc Pima Cotton Dobby Check Mattress Pad is even better than I expected!! I am 52 years old, and I've never had one that stayed on the mattress as well, or was this comfortable! I saw pads at other stores that looked like this one, only they were two to three times as much. We have a new thick mattress plus a four inch memory foam pad and the Croscill 500 tc Pima Cotton Dobby Check Mattress Pad has no trouble staying put!!!!!

Great for deep mattress!
I was a bit concerned because the info given on this cover did not state the depth! Thanks to other reviews, I decided to try it. My mattress is fully 19" deep, and this cover had no problem accommodating it! It is soft, plush, feels nice. I like the way the entire skirt is elasticized for great fit. Syracuse, NY

Love it
I purchased this mattress pad a few weeks ago and am extremely happy with it. It fits my pillow top queen size bed perfectly and the sides wrap around completely. The previous pad I had would have to be stretched and retucked every morning after sleeping on it. This one does not bunch up at all and improves the appearance of the sheets on top. I would highly recommend this mattress pad - great quality and appearance.

LOVE THIS!!!
This is sooo nice! Very thick yet dried just fine in my dryer with just a few fluffs. Bought this with another cover/pad, the Tuff Guard waterproof one, to muffle any noise it might make and let me tell you, it's HEAVEN. Bought these with the 4" Slumber Solutions memory foam topper to protect the "investment". This replaces my 2" memory foam topper I've had for 8 years and it is so worth the money, esp. with the low shipping for such a heavy item. This will definitely make our mattress last longer and help our back & hips!

Rips easily
It's a very tight fit, no extra give on the sides even though elastic woven into sides. The sides of this are no better than heavy duty paper. The sides ripped while I tried to fit it over my mattress that has a pillow top on it. Do Not buy. ***

STOP! This is the one you want!
This one is the best made, softest to touch and fits a deep mattress. I can't believe it was THIS difficult to find a mattress pad. I haven't bought one in a number of years and was a true fan of another brand that failed me with paper like sides that ripped even to a gentle touch...it took four stores and two mail orders before this one arrived. I read reviews and often search the net to read reviews from other sites before I buy - so I do my research. You will not be disappointed with the deep sides, the strong elastic and material, the ease of the fit, the wash and dry results, and most of all it stays in place while adding a soft top under the sheets. It does not 'replace' a mattress top that is worm like some people look for because it conforms to your mattress. A worn mattress is a worn mattress- Adding another layer won'r ever change the feel!

Great Mattress Pad
Excellent quality for the price and size. It would cost much more in the department store. It is not skimpy to put on the mattress. It may even be a little excessive in size- you can pull the corners down under the mattress. Highly Recommended!
