This is an excellent mattress pad @ an excellent price. The cover is 100% cotton, great for sensitive skin. The cover is very thick & helped give a bit of life to our 9 year old mattress. Since it's cotton, it doesn't make any noise & does not itch through the sheets... as my skin cannot tolerate polyester thread. Once we got a new pillow top that also has memory foam, & found that this mattress pad had so much loft, that we sunk into our mattress too much, so we switched to a thinner mattress pad with less loft... and are keeping this one for when our pillow top mattress gets old. ;-) We have a 15" mattress & this pad fit over it no problem. If you have a non-pillow top mattress or an older mattress, this mattress pad is excellent. The elastic sides stretch & cling to the underside of the mattress, so the pad does NOT move at all. Easy to change sheets w/o having to worry about pulling off the mattress pad. Excellent!

A very thick and luxurious mattress cover that covers even the thickest mattress. Ours is 11" mattress and it fit with ease. The topping is nice and padded. The sides are deep and elasticized.Takes two people to install it on the mattress because it looks so shrunk before it's stretched out. BEWARE of the fabric label. CUT IT OFF BEFORE WASHING THE PAD! The label is plastic and it melted in the dryer and turned into a sharp, knife-like THINGIE sewn into the cover! Willl definitely slice the sheets if ignored. We had to use wire cutters to chew it off the mattress pad after it had melted.

I was a bit concerned because the info given on this cover did not state the depth! Thanks to other reviews, I decided to try it. When I was shopping for a mattress pad I looked everywhere, on and off line. This Croscill 500 tc Pima Cotton Dobby Check Mattress Pad is even better than I expected!! I am 52 years old, and I've never had one that stayed on the mattress as well, or was this comfortable! I saw pads at other stores that looked like this one, only they were two to three times as much. We have a new thick mattress plus a four inch memory foam pad and the Croscill 500 tc Pima Cotton Dobby Check Mattress Pad has no trouble staying put!!!!!

This is sooo nice! Very thick yet dried just fine in my dryer with just a few fluffs. Bought this with another cover/pad, the Tuff Guard waterproof one, to muffle any noise it might make and let me tell you, it's HEAVEN. Bought these with the 4" Slumber Solutions memory foam topper to protect the "investment". This replaces my 2" memory foam topper I've had for 8 years and it is so worth the money, esp. with the low shipping for such a heavy item. This will definitely make our mattress last longer and help our back & hips!

This mattress pad is ok. Although, mine didn't last long, because I washed it and then dried it on just fluff air with no heat and it melted! It must be line dried, so you should keep that in mind when purchasing this product.

I purchased this mattress pad a few weeks ago and am extremely happy with it. It fits my pillow top queen size bed perfectly and the sides wrap around completely. The previous pad I had would have to be stretched and retucked every morning after sleeping on it. This one does not bunch up at all and improves the appearance of the sheets on top. I would highly recommend this mattress pad - great quality and appearance.

I ordered the Twin XL size of this cover for my dorm room, and I was INORDINATELY pleased with how comfortable it made my plasticky military-issue bed. The best part about this mattress cover is how tight you can make it on your mattress, probably because of the banded/accordion-style sides (you can see them in the picture). That means the cover fits all sizes of mattresses, whether you have a pillowtop or nothing (like me), and you can adjust it so it stays perfectly in place. Other covers have always slipped or shifted, even a little bit, but this one stayed on like it was built into the mattress. It's also nice and thick, and just the right level of softness and firmness. I plan to buy one for my full-size bed at home.

The mattress pad was shipped quickly and well packaged when it arriived. It was washed before using and does take up a full load but cleaned and dryed without any problems. I purchased a queen size and it fits very well on a 16 inch mattress. Unlike many mattress pads this one does not bunch up at all during the night even with very restless sleepers. It remains very comfortable and warm. Overall it is thick and very comfortable and the stitching and construction appears to be excellent and several cuts above other pads that I have used. I would recommend this for anyone who really wants a great quality product.

I was expecting a high quality cover from the reviews that I read. This cover is only covered by real, thick fabric on the top, the underside has that very cheap fabric that feels like thin felt. For that matter, it is also what is used around the outside and it feels like it is going to tear when you put it on.the bed. I had to have my husband help me put it on our king bed because it kept slipping off the corners. Once it was on, it did stay put nicely though. Wouldn't buy this one again.

This is a very good quality pad at an excellent price. I purchased this pad because I was looking for a layer of natural fibers to put on top of my new memory foam mattress which is very hot. This is a very comfortable pad. It fits my 15" queen size mattress very well and snug. The natural fibers somewhat help with the cooling level that I was looking for. I have not washed it yet so I don't know how it will be after the first wash. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

We are very pleased with this mattress cover. It does all that it specified. The fit is great for our very deep mattress and it is cool to sleep on. we would definitely recommend it. We have done a lot of shopping with Overstock.com and have nothing but good experience with all the products we have bought. We saved money each time over what costs would have been in the retail stores. This product as well. We highly recommend both the mattress pad and Overstock.

Well made mattress protector. The stretchy side fabric keeps it very snug to your mattress so it doesn't move around like some others I have had. The cotton top is plush and I like that that the quilting is a tighter together than on some less expensive ones. I think it is a little pricey but when Overstock had a special thus reducing the price $5, it was acceptable. It was shipped very quickly. 4 out of 5 is because of price, not the quality,

Best Mattress Pad ever. This sells for double in higher-end stores and even online. Nice cotton top feels cozy and cushy adding support giving a new feel to your mattress. Fits beautifully, but it is helpful to dry on warm, not high, and remove when just dry enough. This is the best investment so don't settle for a lesser mattress pad if you can help it.

The mattress pad is great,very corfortable.My mattress is pillow top Califoria king-deep pocket .I have a hard time finding sheets and covers to fit ,this pad is perfect,covers the entire matteress and does not come off the sides.I love this cover.It feels more like a mattress topper.

We love our memory foam mattress that we bought from Overstock 2 years ago but my husband found that it made him too hot (temp wise ;-). This mattress pad did the trick without taking anything away from the comfort of the memory foam.

I love this mattress pad! I bought the same one years ago for my king bed ( in a store), and was pleased to find it here online ( in all the sizes) with such a minimal delivery charge. It was for a thinner, twin matress in my son's dorm room, and because the sides are so smocked, it fit like a dream over the mattress and 2 inch topper I purchased at the same time. It washes great , feels great and my son loves the two together. It is worth every penny, as the cheaper ones truly do not deliver the quality of this brand. You won't be disappointed!

after reading the reviews, I went ahead and decided to purchase this mattress pad. I just bought a new bed and when I asked for firm, the store gave me ultrafirm which is too hard for me. This mattress pad did make my bed more soft and comfortable for my back and hips as I've been having all kinds of issues lately. I do not know where the nay sayers are getting their information, I really like this and if it turns out later on that something went amiss. I will let you know then.

The quality of this matress pad was outstanding. I ordered the item after reading many positive reviews. My problem is that my matress is not a pillow top nor is it one of the new ones that is 15 inches or more thick, mine is only around 9 inches thick. So the problem i have is that the pad slid around on my matress even with the elastic sides that i thought would be enough to hold the pad in place. I have been searching for a pad that will stay tight on my matress forever and really thought i had found it ): But I have to say that the problem is mine and not that of the pad; I just wish it fit tighter and it would then be perfect in my opinion.
