Croscill 400 Thread Count Pima Cotton Mattress Pad

I had to replace my cheaper mattress pad because the top fabric wore through and let the fiberfilling escape so I wanted to replace it with a higher quality. This is definately it! The top fabric is really tightly woven and the cotton is of a premier quality that you can tell just by the feel of it. The loft of it gave my aging comforter a lifted look when the bed is made. I'm willing to bet that we get many years of service out of this mattress pad. O.co has more bed linens in California King than anyone.

Fit the queen bed we bought it for perfectly. We wanted a nice mattress pad that wasn't too cushiony but still had some fluff, and this worked great. I would recommend.

This pad ripped on the side the first time I put it on the mattress. The sides seem to be made of paper. I do not have long fingernails and my fingertip ripped it. Bad design, nylon would have been a better material. I put my old pad back on and this one will be my spare. Waste of money.

I paid $50 for this pad, a good deal for a Cal-King mattress pad. After reading other reviews about how cheap the sides were, and how some customers said they ripped going on, I took my chances. They are right about the sides tearing easily. I was careful, and still managed to tear it in two places. I've told my husband he is NOT to remove the pad or adjust it in any way. His hands are rough, and tearing it would frustrate him. Nevertheless, the pad is comfortable. We have a MEMORY FOAM mattress, and in the chilly weather, the mattress gets cold. The Croscill mattress pad removes the chill from the bed, and we sleep through the night without feeling chilled. If the sides didn't tear, I'd have rated higher. I marked "recommend to a friend" because the price is very attractive.
