After reading the conflicting reviews, I was a little concerned about quality. When I opened the package, however, I was very pleased. The comforter is just the right weight to use year round, and the colors are quite close to those displayed (if your monitor is not well calibrated or old, colors will not show true). I ran it through the dryer for about 20 minutes with dyer balls to fluff it, and it came out soft and puffy. The sheets were a little stiff until washed (and who would NOT wash sheets before use to remove the sizing?!), but after only one wash were quite soft. It is difficult to find pure cotton sheets for children; most are blends which can be perpetually stiff, and which pill after a time. I suspect that different dye lots, and perhaps different batches of cloth may account for the variance. Maybe we were lucky, or perhaps negative reviewers expected 500 thread count Egyptian cotton ;-)

The online pictures of this comforter were a bit deceiving in that I thought there was more detail in the stitching. It is VERY basic, minimal, machine stitching. It's all one, continuous piece of fabric so the "quilting" look is just that...a look. It's much less convincing in person. The fabric quality isn't the best or most soft. It's not so bad that I'm sending it back, but I'm much less concerned about my 5 and 2 year old girls marking or spilling on these than I was prior to receiving them.

My grand-daughter is estactic with her new comforter. She a horse lover and Nana has just made brownie points. I looked everywhere and thank goodness you had what I was looking for at a great price. Thank you so much

This set works great for my 2 1/2 year old little girl's bedroom. I was looking for something that she could have for several years and not have to change. This fits the bill! The colors are wonderful and the horses look alot better in person than in the pictures. I ended up using a different set of sheets with the comforter and pillow cases. I made curtains from the horse sheets that came with the set. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase.

The horses on the comforter are much better than the pictues. The sheet set is also better than pictured. At first glance, the sheets look like a mix of two pinks, but once on the bed, you can see he darker pink is a horse pattern as well. My daughter loves it!

Not the quality I expected. The pattern is adorable and the colors too . The sheets and pillowcases are okay. Horses are printed all over the sheets, something I could not see in the photos - very pretty. It also came with two shams that are really cute. I decided to keep it because it is so cute but I would not recommend it to a friend if they are looking for very good quality.

good price ,nice set, so far its holding up fine, and of course the kiddo luvs the horses!! i looked around for awile and just couldnt belive how spendy anything with a horse theme is! so for the price its definitly a decent deal. and first time i can actually say ,i think it looks better in person than pics! :)

I bought this for my daughter as a birthday gift. She was very happy with it. The sheets are nice and not too rough like some are in the bed in a bag sets. The bedspread looks to be good quality, although it has not needed to be washed yet and that is the true test of how well they will hold up. The real color is different than what it looks like in the picture though. In the photo, it looks to be a aqua/bright turquoise color and a bright pink, but when I got it, it was actually a light pink and a light blue color. But I'm happier with that color than what the photo depicted. This was my first purchase from overstock, and I was very happy with the service. The product came in six days and with no problems. Love the product and will definitely be buying again!

Daughter is a fan of horses and she loves the set. Product arrived quickly.

My daughters ages 9 and 10 LOVE their new comforters! They are very soft and pretty. The floral pattern on the blankets are even prettier in real life. the picture doesn't do it justice. The pink is a lighter pink in person but we actually liked it better. Sheets are a very pretty pink too! Couldn't be happier with our purchase.

Cute set. The colors to me looked different in person than online. Its very hard to see all the detail from the picture online. I though the colors would be brighter, but my daughter loves it!

bought as gift for grand daughter. I am sending it to her today. Wish I would of had it mailed directly to her. She will be 6 years old and I think she will love it. It seems like it will be a good value for the price.

My daughter loves horses and this bed set is really great because it has horses on the sheets and pillowcases. When she gets older and grows out of the horse stuff she can flip it over and have just a regular quilt. It is good quality for the price. The sheets are nice and soft after you wash them. We love this bed set!!

my daughter loved the set. thought the horses were more of a solid brown but happily found out that they are outlined in a brown but have the colors of the quilt inside. like the fact that the set is reversible. good price for a complete set. would recommend

I received product quickly, delighted with the colors, they were as described on line and looked exactly as the promo pictures. My grand daughter loved her new comforter set. She loves to change the comforter from the soft pinks, browns and blues to the side with the horses. The quality is very good, the material is soft and comfy to be under. Not to heavy, easy to move under if you toss and tumble like my g.baby. I found the quality, and price unbeatable. Enjoy this purchase very much.
