Cotton Sateen 750 Thread Count Sheet Set

These sheets are excellent. Very substantial weight and excellent feel if you like thick sheets. No issues with shrinkage so far on my fairly thick California King bed with a 3" foam topper. I like the stiffness versus flimsier ordinary sheets, and I never use fabric softener. I did not need to wash them any more than once either. For those that have reviewed these and other high thread count sheets poorly, most of you seem to miss a simple fact. High thread count sheets are always going to be stiffer and heavier than low thread count sheets. This should be obvious. If you want a sheet that easily conforms to your body and is lightweight, just go to your local department store and get a twenty or thirty dollar set of 150 or 200 thread counts sheets, which is the thread count of most cheap sheets you find in stores. The "Percale" designation only requires a thread count of 180. If you're getting a sheet set that is 3 1/2 to 5 times more dense than what you're used to, do you really expect it to feel just the same? The same is true for wrinkles. I don't get why anyone who isn't photographing their house for a magazine cares about whether their sheets are wrinkle free, but again a low thread count sheet will be much less likely to have any wrinkles because it's made of a thin flimsy fabric that can easily be smoothed out. If you don't like these sheets, odds are you won't like any high thread count sheet. If you had or have some other sets you believed were high thread count but they aren't heavy at all or stiffer than low thread count sheets, you probably have lower thread count sheets that were mislabeled or simply misrepresented.

I received these for Christmas. I just washed & dried them. cold water. I took them out of the dryer while still tumbling and they are extremely wrinkled. Got them on 3 corners of the bed and had to fight to get the last corner on. If I could I would exchange them for another brand. I am dissapointed.

We were really disappointed in these sheets. They were not soft at all, as other high thread count sets have been (in my experience).

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Poor--after two washings, several holes have shown up. We use a high-efficiency front-loader machine.

Received a California King. Fit loose at first. One washing and one needed to be a muscle man to fitted sheet on. Not looking forward to next time. Very dissatisfied with this product.
