You'd think something called "Cotton Sateen" would in fact be cotton sateen, but read the product details carefully - these are in fact 45% polyester, and the word "Sateen" is not on the packaging anywhere. I complained to Overstock about the misrepresentation, and they said they'd look into it, so hopefully this will be fixed, but if you want full cotton, and you want sateeen, avoid these.
When I received the sheets which were suppose to be 600 thread cotton sateen they turned out to be only 55% cotton and had 45% polyester in them I ONLY BUY COTTON sheets with High thread count and will not TRUST what I read on detail descriptions at OVERSTOCK. For the first time I am very disappointed with OVERSTOCK.
I've had this product for about 3 weeks. All four corners on the fitted sheet are starting to split, and there is a quarter sized hole that is not associated with a seam. The material is pilling. This product doesn't meet the quality that I'm used to seeing on Overstock items. I've requested a refund.
I expected silky smooth sheets, but they were no different from cotton 400 count sheets. I was very disappointed. I had ordered the same Sateen 800 count sheets from Land's End a year ago and they were silky smooth. I expected these to be the same. Sincerely Ann Weiner
These sheets are not cotton sateen, they are a cheap polyester blend and when I washed them to put them on my bed, 2 of the fitted sheet pockets split. The entire seam in the pocket ripped wide open. Returning these, definitely would not recommend.
I have used these sheets for the last several weeks. After the first use, the seam on one of the corners of the fitted sheet came completely loose. Also, the sheets are too snug and are a fight to put on a standard queen-size mattress.
