I'm very disappointed with this sheet set. I thought that, at 1000 thread count, they would be much softer, even being cotton. I've washed them multiple times & they're still not very soft. Going to try soaking and/or /rewashing with just a fabric softener to see if I can get them soft enough to use.
I love these sheets, great quality that you know it will last. It has a slight heavyness to it which was quite nice when we had the air conditioner on and it gave a nice coverage that was needed versus a blanket. I'm glad I got this purchase.
My husband and I absolutely love these sheets. They are so nice to sleep on and heavy enough that we don't put a blanket on the bed. I had used 600 T.C. about all my married life. I wish I would have bought 1,000+ T.C. earlier. These sheets stay on our sleep number bed with 4" memory foam on top of mattress. I don't have to keep putting the corner of the sheet over the mattress. Love these sheets!!
Because these sheets are a blend of cotton and polyester, they don't shrink and they come out of the dryer with virtually no wrinkles. I like the heavy weight, and how they look new after almost three months of weekly laundering. I have a set of 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, and they wrinkle like crazy and the bottom sheet no longer fits my mattress due to shrinkage. These sheets are a little crisper than the 100 percent cotton ones I have, but they feel great to me, and are also more sturdy, so i believe they will hold up to many years of wear. I love them and plan to get another set.
As Some of you may know; I am the 1000 thread count man. And I must say, That I was very disappointed in theese sheets. They just could not hold up after the first wash. They began to come apart At the seams. However, they do feel amazing; But they are not Egyptian cotton. Food for thought; If you want to feel the true quality in your sheets; stick with Egyptian cotton. for a few pennies more you'll get quality and style with out the disappointment and the headaches.
