I didn't need a pkg of 6 case covers, but I'm so glad to have extras on hand. These are extra-fine quality, thick enough, smooth zippers, perfect fit for my standard pillows, and I've even washed one pair already just to test it and it only got better. I'm so glad I found these on Overstock. Don't let your pillows get that ugly yellow stain, cover them right away - cover them twice if need be - you have extras to put to good use. This is a great deal.Read More
This set of six pillow protectors didn't disappoint. The zippers work well and they launder well. They did shrink a bit after the first wash, but they still fit my standard size pillows. I would definitely recommend them.Read More
The product received was good quality and generally well constructed. My only difficulty was that the product was advertised as being down proof - not an accurate statement. Although significantly better than my previous covers, there was still significant amounts of penetration by the down from the pillows. If you want a good quality protector, I can recommend this product. If however, down proofing is your primary concern, I would suggest you search elsewhereRead More
Over the years I have never understood why pillow protectors are so expensive in department stores. That's why I decided to try Overstock's protectors because the price was so economical. They are perfect...good quality. I'm very happy with them.Read More
The cases arrived within a week and the quality of the cotton is really nice for protective pillow cases - soft rather than stiff and they fit my standard pillowcases very well. I was pleased to get six of them for this price and would definitely recommend them.Read More

are these pillow cases individually wrapped and labeled?
Yes, the pillow cases are individually wrapped. They are packed six to a case.
Do these covers protect your pillows from dust mites? Bedbugs? Or do these covers prevent you from having to wash pillows?
Unfortunately, the item doesn't protect pillows from dust mites and bed bugs. It helps in keeping your pillows clean and fresh.
Did not say bed bug or dust mite proof on package, but look just like those I've seen in stores that do. They are cotton, not waterproof or anything, I use them to protect pillows from yellow stains that sometimes seep thru pillow cases, and protect expensive down pillows that can't be washed. Theynhave a zipper with fine teeth on one end. Don't know for sure if that makes them beg bug proof or not.
How to Wash Throw Pillows
Part of keeping a clean house is making sure all of your decorative accessories are clean. Throw pillows covered in delicate fabrics, such as wool or silk, will have to be dry-cleaned, as will throw pillows stuffed with down or feathers. Foam-filled throw pillows with cotton covers or other washable materials, however, can be washed -- some even by machine. Nevertheless, even if a pillow appears washable, always consult the washing instruction label before attempting to wash a throw pillow -- or you may be in for an unpleasant surprise when you remove the pillow from the washing machine.
Bed Pillows vs Throw Pillows
Dress up your bed with both throw pillows and bed pillows for a cozy, relaxing spot.
