PINK ones are SOFT but the WINE ones are ROUGH.
I love the Pink (soft pink color) ones, they are super soft. I got 6 sets of them. Then I ordered 2 sets of the WINE the color wasn't as burgundy (a bit darker not bright) as I would like but the problem is they are NOT SOFT like the Pink. Isn't that strange? The very same brand of pillowcase but a different color? My Mother taught me to wash everything before use. I washed the same as the others. I think it's odd. I'm keeping them because I need pillowcases but will order the PINK again if needed. Odd, yes? They are worth the price.

So Soft and Smooth
I always have to buy extra pillowcases as I have standard memory pillow and the my hubby uses king size. So I took a chance a bought these was concerned about the thread count. It was abosolutely lushest and soft and smooth. And the color was true and blue satin look to it but not satin. Scheen is what I was looking for and I was quite surprised with these cases for what I paid.... Love you Overstock. We need to leave reviews as it gives up a better feel as to what we are buying... Reveiwers ROCK....

Cotton Pillow cases
These pillow cases are horrible. They say they are a 100% cotton, but the feel like recycled paper. They are hard, course and stiff. I have washed them four times and they seem to get harder with every wash. The price was not cheap to me and for that money I would have thought to get better quality. I have paid under $5.00 on clearance for other pillow cases and have gotten excellent quality. This is pure trash.

wrinkled
I was looking for some additional pillow cases and didn't want to spend a lot of money. When I saw these I figured they would work fine. BUT, after washing they were so wrinkled! I don't iron my bed linens and was disappointed as on set was going in the guest room. The colors were fine, and I suppose the quality not so bad, but the wrinkles - not good.

Spare pillowcases
These pillowcases were bought because I could not buy extras for the sheet set I had just bought from the O. I got the brick because they will match some of the colors on my comforter. I did not like the fact that the stitching was white. Why wouldn't they match the fabric...kind of looks cheesy. They are smooth and silky but I haven't washed them yet. It looked to me to be more of a terra cotta in the pictures on line. In reality they are much more red. I will keep them as I need them but would have much rather had as depicted.
