I got these shams to sit behind my fancier ones. They serve the purpose perfectly and you cannot beat the price. But, if you are are looking for fancy show shams, you will not like these. They are clearly meant to be a "behind the show shams" shams. They are lightweight but adequate. So don't buy them as a "first" sham and then complain that they are lightweight and flimsy. They work great for what they should be used for.

I disagree with previous reviews that the shams are too thin for top shams. I am using them for top shams and they are crisp and clean and look great on the bed. I am more than pleased with this product and the low price and free shipping is a huge plus! If you are looking for white, crisp, tailored shams then I highly recomend these.

If you are using these for show and not for comfort, they are perfect. The fabric is not great, but it will do it's job.

I was a little put off when I got these shams out of the package: the fabric felt synthetic even though the shams are 100 percent cotton, and the white color looked bluish, like watered-down milk. But after a go-around in the washing machine, I'm very pleased with them. The fabric is somewhat thin -- you'll definitely need pillowcase protectors if you don't want the pattern on your pillowcases to show through -- but it is unmistakably cotton, and I'm looking forward to feeling it become softer with time. The color is less blueish as well, and I really like the crisp, classic styling. All in all, I'd say they're an excellent value for the price.

These shams, as the other reviewers have mentioned are *thin*, so you'll need plain white pillows for underneath, and even then, if you look, you can still see any white-on-white patterning. I think they're great if you have two rows of pillows on your bed and just want a sham edge to peek out on the back ones, or if you have colored/patterned ones up front and want these as a 'backdrop'. You can not beat the price for that purpose, but if you're looking for shams for the front pillows on a bed that everyone will see, I'd probably choose others.

I'm very pleased with the pillow shams I purchased.

I thought these were quite nice for the price. Though thin can actually be used for sleeping on since they are easily washable.

The pillow shams are good, plain, simple and kind of soft..

The material is nicer and the size is roomier than I thought they would be.

These are perfect for a contrast pillow sham on my bed. Nice material.

Shams make a nice presentation and compliment my decor. My only complaint is that they wrinkle alot after washing and drying even though I remove them promply from the dryer. But, you can't beat the price or value.

These shams are good quality, but not wrinkle resistant. Good buy if you do not might ironing pillow shams after washing ;-)

I thought these were a little more decorative they are pretty much plain. Thats ok

I use these for my regular pillowcases bc I like my pillow fully enclosed.. These have been washed weekly for over a year and are still in great condition!

I've gotten these shams before and like them - the price is awesome. I do wish that they wouldn't wrinkle as much as they do, but I'm pleased with them.
