When I first saw this item I wanted to purchase it for my sister but decided to keep it. Excellent choice!!

This comforter is actually BLACK and dark tan almost just plain BROWN.... i have no idea where they got cream and brown in the description???? Lovely picture, but it is NOT what you will get :( Also note that i ordered a california king... it says california king and is being sold as a california king, but i later looked up the deminsions and it is the same as a regular king :(

The description of this comforter said it was brown and beige. It is NOT brown...it's beige with a very BLACK stitching/embroidery. The comforter is very light and too slippery...it always falls off of the bed. My husband hates it and wants to get a different one...he says it's too itchy.

The color I thought was dark brown but it is actually black. That was the only downfall. The product is excellent and alot for the value.

this is darker that what shows in the picture. I did not take it out of the bag.

Bought the set for a guest room and its nice to get all the extra pillows and shams to make it feel complete for the room and cozy for a guest. Neutral color palette is also very rich in its pattern and the silky feeling to the black accents on the pillows and square black shams adds to a luxurious feeling. Very pleased overall.

This comforter set is perfect. The quality is very good, and the colors are what I expected them to be. The background color is more beige than creamy white. Beautiful! A great deal, looks like it was purchased at a high end department store.

I would recommend this to a friend if they were looking for something taupe with black. The item wasn't at all close to the ivory and black colors as listed in the description. Nice fabric, appeared to be well made, but I sent it back because it wasn't the proper color for my room.

This comforter set is everything you think it will be. Luxurious and warm. Really made out bed look like it belongs in a fancy hotel.

Color is not accurate. It looks cream and brownish in the picture but it is actually yellow gold and black- going to send it back.

Pleased with the comforter set. The look and feel are very nice. The throw pillows are a tad smaller than I figured, but it's not a problem. looks great on my bed in my new bedroom. Shipment was fast!

I'm glad I ordered 2 separate comforters. This one doesn't look compare to what it looks like on-line. What appeared as white background with black print turns out to be a dirty beige color. I will be returning this comforter set.

You can tell its not cream in the picture if you zoom in and compare the color to the white night stand. Seems to be well designed overall.

This is a pretty set and I'm happy that it didn't include cheap sheets, but it is not even close to the color in the picture. The background of the pattern is more of a coffee color than cream... probably more similar to the brown color in the rug in the picture. The quality is good, and it looks nice, but it is quite a bit darker than pictured. If you're looking for something bright, I would choose this.

I like this set very much, but considered returning it The background is much darker than it appears in the picture. It is more of a deep, dark gold. However, when I discovered it would cost me $$ to return, I decided to keep it. I am very surprised Overstock doesn't supply pre-paid return shipping lables, and makes you pay to return items.
