I have neck and shoulder problems from an auto accident. I'm a side sleeper and have tried almost every type of pillow out there! I always wake-up with a stiff neck and sore shoulders. I love the softness of down, but it does not have enough support! Fiber fill pillows are either too hard or too un-supportive! I always prefered a softer pillow over firmer ones. My chiropractor recommended that I get visco-elastic memory foam pillows. I tried several, most were way too hot, your head just sweats! Then I found Iso-Cool memory foam pillows with Outlast fabric! I first learned about Outlast fabric when I bought a new Serta mattress last year. It really works! It does keep you cooler. My mattress also has memory foam in it! Serta buys all their memory foam from the Carpenter Co. They are the maker of the Iso-Cool pillows! So I thought I would give them a try. The first few days I was very skeptical, they were cool to sleep on, but were firmer than I'm used to. But now 2 weeks later! I realize, I have not woken up with a stiff neck or sore shoulders at all. Including the first night sleeping on them. They also make a gussetted side sleeper version of this pillow. Even though I'm a side sleeper, I seem to prefer the traditional shaped pillow. These pillows mold to the contours of your head and neck and they don't push back. The traditional shape can adapt to all sleep positions. Give them a week or so if you never slept on memory foam pillows before! You will get used to them and find your perfect sleeping position. Also all memory foam pillows have a strong odor when new! Although not offensive, kind of a slight chemical odor. I took the plastic wrap off my pillows and un-zipped the fabric cover and left them air out for 2 days. The odor 2 weeks later is all but gone! These Iso-Cool pillows are very well made! Nice durable fabric covers that are washable! They have an unheard of 15 year warranty! They are the best pillows I have ever slept on! Just give them a few days and I think you'll agree! You'll find your perfect position and you'll barely move the rest of the night.

I love the fabric and the fact the pillow stays cool. It is very heavy but very comfortable Pirced very well.

I like the pillow overall. However, I'm not sure what the iso cool part is. I've used other memory foam pillows and they do tend to retain the heat. This one does not, so I guess that's it. It just doesn't get hot and I guess that comes from the case it's in, not the pillow itself.I saw this advertised on the Doctors TV show and thought I'd try it. I bought one for a friend and one for my husband too.

I am one that likes the phrase, "as cool as the other side of the pillow". I wanted a pillow that stayed cool, as I am a 'hot sleeper'. I purchased this pillow because I am a fan of memory foam (owner of a Tempurpedic mattress", but not a fan that they are very warm. The IsoCool was supposed to be cooler and dissipate the warmth and keep you cool. Well, the memory foam is a little softer than Tempurpedic material and will maintain its shape forever. However, it is not as cool as I would like. I wake up and my head is a little sweaty. Though it sleeps a little warmer than I would hope, it is comfortable enough to keep and will never go flat.

I ordered this for my husband after we had tried some other memory form pillows and were disappointed. This pillow is much more comfortable and keeps his head cool!

I'm a stomach-sleeper, and found this too firm to be comfortable. However my husband, who sleeps on his side or back, loves it. It really does keep it's cool during the night, and we've never experienced any odor like other reviewers have mentioned. Our only complaint is the zipper pull! It has some very sharp edges and is quite painful if it gets under the arm, elbow, or side.

I bought this pillow as a gift. The idea of having a cool pillow through out the night was intriguing. I had been looking for a memory foam pillow anyways, this seemed to be a great combination. The pillow does keep its cool, but is also very comfortable, and has him sleeping more soundly than before. The only negative comment I have is that the pillow smells. We have had the pillow out of its packaging for almost 3 weeks, but it still has a strong odor. It is possible that the odor is from its packaging.

Hard, uncomfortable, HOT not cool, sticky neck and head. Smelly odor. How often do you and your wife/husband say the morning after sleeping with a new pillow, that each of you tossed-around and woke up several times with a sweaty head and neck? Not a good thing. I have other fatter memory foam pillows (the one from Overstock which has the fiber blend) - love them . The Iso Cool is hot. The foam smells like toxic chemicals. The fabric is cheap, thin. Not a quality product. We have purchased a variety of products from Overstock. Ususally we are very pleased. Not now.

Not as described. - Not a quality product. -I should have read the reviews before buying a pair. Yes, I know that foam has an odor when it's made. That's ok. What's not OK is the hardness and the fact that it's no cooler than my other foam/polyester fiber blend pillows I got from Overstock, It looks like a nice, comfortable pillow, It's not. My husband made us throw out the pillows the same week they arrived.

I regret pruchasing this pillow. My wife hates them. It is not a good value. I like the shape, hate the odor. .It is like sleeping on a brick. I think they are just as hot as my old memory foam pillows. Made my neck sore from the hard foam.
