Buy the Temperpedic because this pillow is not up to that standard.

Before using this pillow I had only used standard pillows that didn't provide any neck support, so the first few days of use felt strange but comfortable. I have since adapted and enjoy the support tremendously. I am primarily a back and sometimes side sleeper, and this pillow is comfortable for either position.As other users have mentioned, there is an odor (not unpleasant, but noticeable) that requires the pillow to be aired out for a while.Pricewise - this is my first contour pillow so I can't really compare it to other contour pillows, but I have seen many that are half the price.

I purchased this pillow to replace another contoured memory foam pillow that I'd had for about 8 years. I tried many different types of memory foam pillows before settling on the Cool Comfort pillow, and I'm happy to say my search is over. This is a very firm pillow, and if you're not used to sleeping on memory foam, it can take a little while to get used to it. Even for me, after sleeping on a memory foam pillow for years, it took a night or two to adjust. It gives excellent support, and I have been sleeping very comfortably since using the Cool Comfort pillow. I haven't noticed that the pillow seems to keep cooler than any other pillow I have used, but I didn't buy it for that factor, so it doesn't bother me at all.

I was slightly disappointed with the pillows, only because they don't stay as cool as the IsoCool matress pad. Overall, I think they help and would buy them again, they just aren't quite as good as I hoped.

The pillow arrived in the amount of time promised and lives up to the quality described in the catalog.

I must admit this took a little getting used to, maybe a week, especially after sleeping on pillows that didn't provide any support. I'm sleeping overall better now, and neck -muscle problems have pretty much gone away!

Not sure what the problem is, but there is a very unpleasant smell, almost like mildew from the pillow. I aired it out for about a week but was still able to smell it. i only started to try use it although I did find it comfortable there is still a trace of the odour

This pillow is cool to the touch and warms up just enough from body heat. My old pillow would get very hot. I sleep more soundly, and don't wake up all sweaty like I used to. The best quality is the shape of it. I have not had any back pain when waking up since I started using this pillow. I used to slowly get out of bed with back pain. Now, I just jump up and go. love it.

Creative marketing. This memory foam is hot. You'll have a sweaty neck. This memory foam is hard. I've had the pillow for more than a week and the odor is still terrible. It's creative marketing and doesn't live up to its claims. Don't buy it.

This pillow is the most comfortable I've ever tried, and I've tried a lot of them over the years in my quest for a good night's sleep! Plus, I'm extremely pleased with the quality, fast shipping and excellent value I received from Overstock.com. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
