great for the money. does not loose its thickness or "squish" down when you lay on it. the cover is soft. i have severe back and leg damage and cannot afford a sleep number bed. this is a nice alternative. helps a lot.

Living in Florida we have a lot of hot nights. We've tried regular memory foam mattress pads before, but we'd sweat and wake up on a wet pad. Yuk! Since this pad came with the IsoCool cover I decided to give it a try. Their shapes were very odd when they first came out of the package, but after leaving them laid out on the floor overnight, they shaped right up. My daughter's been wanting a theraputic bed so I bought two, one for each of our beds. Her's is a soft-side water bed and mine is a king size water bed. The pad fit her bed perfectly, but I guess king size water beds are longer than regular beds, so I had about a foot with no pad. I took an old egg crate pad and cut it, doubled it and put it at the foot of the bed. Rigged; but it works great. I'm going to have to get some deeper sheets, though. As far as sleeping...WONDERFUL! No sweat and wet pad. I highly recommend this to anyone. The IsoCool cover makes all the difference!

I have had this memory foam for over 2 years now. I bought it to prolong the life of my mattress. It is great. So comfy and the cover is well made and keeps you cool.

I have been in treatment for breast cancer and a side effect of the chemotherapy has been terrible hot flashes. We had a memory foam matress topper that I had purchased from Overstock a couple of years ago that I loved, but it was so very hot.This matress pad really does make the bed significantly cooler. When I first get into bed it actually feels cold at times. But I'm greatful throughout the night at the difference. My poor husband on the other hand...... Memory foam holds heat and even with the Iso Cool pad it might still feel warm to someone who has a standard matress. But I can certainly tell the difference between just the memory foam topper and the topper with the pad.The memory foam isn't as dense as our previous topper but still very comfortable. The description gives the density but I really have no idea what our original was so it wouldn't have helped. There was an odor but that's just the nature of memory foam. We aired it out a couple of days....as much as you can find space to do so with a giant king topper. I would say it took a couple of weeks for the odor to be completely gone but it wasn't anything that was bothersome to sleep on those 2 weeks.The original topper we got a few years ago was not exactly the size of our bed but this one was perfect.I would definatly recomend. You can't buy just the pad for the price!

My husband and I had been thinking of getting a new mattress. The old one was giving us both back aches. I decided to try a memory foam topper first instead. I choose this product , after much research, because of it's claims to remain cool. I tend to get very hot at night. This mattress has been great. It arrived very quickly. The smell was minimal. It was on our bed with in 24 hours. The cool mattress pad that came with it is a very high quality pad, very thick and well made. We both sleep much better now. I toss and turn much less. The pad remains cool as it claims. My husband, who has a very bad back, just mentioned again how getting the pad was the best thing we ever did. We liked it so much that we purchased a second pad for our daughter's bed. The only negative that I can think of is that it makes the bed harder to change since the topper and pad is so heavy. Now if only I could find the perfect pillow to go with it.......

So I got this a while back for my GF and I to try and get a little better nights rest, rather than getting a new mattress (times are tough). Can say that we have been very happy with this product. If you like that really soft mattress feeling, and your bed to kind of..well hug your body...then this is what you are looking for.I have tried the thinner memory foam pads in the past...and by far, this is the most comfortable...well worth the $ to go to the 3" pad..was good enough to have us get a second one for her place..

Most importantly to me is the fact that it remains cool throughout the night, which it does. It is comfortable and the cover is great. It stayed smelly for a bit longer than suggested in the directions but that is wearing off. Overall I am very satisfied.

The mattress memory foam topper and Iso-cool cover is the best you can buy for your money! It cushions and cradles you right off to sleep. It comes with the Iso-cool mattress cover that is very well made of good quality material and has good elastic that holds over the memory foam, and it really does help with the heat. I have RLS so I have been debating about getting a memory foam topper for some time because they retain so much of your body heat, but that is all that is available when it comes to quality and comfort with mattress toppers. It does take quite some time for the smell to disappear and even then it is still around, but that is the nature of the beast with memory foam (let it air out about 4 days before you put it on your bed). The only thing I would have bad to say is that with a 3 inch memory foam topper and the Iso-cool mattress cover you have to buy deep pocket sheets so they will fit and not come undone. Other than that we are so pleased and love sleeping in our bed again! I would buy this product again and again. It arrived in record time about 5 days!

This product was a great value and the comfort is just wonderful, but it took over three weeks to get the smell out of the pad. It is still not all gone but at least I can live with it. The Iso-cool mattress cover is all it was discribed, very comfortable.

I bought one for myself and liked it so much, I bought one for my son and daughter-in-law - The foam pad did smell when I first received it, but it did unfold pretty quickly - and I put it on the morning after I rec'd it. The mattress pad is an outstanding product - IsoCool is definitely a good product. All in all, I find the topper to be very comfortable, although I would have preferred a new pillowtop mattress - but who can afford the good ones anymore? This was a good alternative - a very good alternative.

I purchased this foam topper after listenting to my co-workers talk positively about Iso-Tonic® foam. Background Info: My 10-yr old daughter has been sleeping on my Full size mattress set I bought while in college, so the set alone is nearly 20 yrs old but in very good shape but it's firm. A few years ago, I replaced my mattress set - a complete foam style with a pillow top, so my bed is much more comforting to the body. My daughter recognized that my bed is much more comfy and softer and wondered why her bed is hard and uncomfortable. I looked into replacing her set but the cost would be well over $1000 and not doable right now so I considered this topper option.This product arrived in 4 days from Overstock.com, I immediately removed it from it's packaging, unrolled it, and layed it out on my bed to air out and inflate. It literally took less than 5 minutes for the topper to become it's intended size. The odor was minimal - smells like "vanilla nuts", so it's not an unpleasing smell as chemical smells go. I aired it out for 8 hrs before putting on my daughters bed with the mattress pad. The size of topper matched perfectly with the full size mattress. The topper had enough gusset to cover both pieces and keep a nice shape, after it's first washing. My daughter slept on it last night and would not get out of bed this morning, not because she was tired after sleeping nearly 10 hrs, but because she was too comfortable and didn't want to get out of bed.I recommend this topper to anyone who needs to replace a mattress set but cannot do it for their own reasons. I made my 10-yr old daughter sleep like a baby again - that's enough satisfaction for me.

We have had this for two weeks now and we love it! The iso cool part of it is great...we have been gone a few nights and we can definetly tell that it does keep us cooler. It is nice and comfy to sleep on too!

I was a little upset when I first got this because it didn't look like much--still doesn't. Because of back problems and headaches I hadn't slept in my own bed for months. The smell was a little overwhelming a first but I let it air out overnight--much better. I was completely shocked how it puffed up to normal size within hours. Very cool to watch. The mattress pad was such an added benefit. It's very cool when I first get into the bed, but it does warm up throughout the night. It's so much better than sleeping on the foam mattress without out. The first couple nights sleeping on it is a little difficult and not very pleasing, but then it's like it just becomes me. I can sleep on my back or my side and not have any issues like I used to have. I saw this exact same thing at a local store for $100 more and was so excited when I found it on overstock. I would pay the $100 more but it sure helped my wallet out. A must have for anyone having trouble sleeping.

After purchasing this IsoCool product at the recommendation of my aunt, my daughter loved hers so much I had to spoil my son with one, too. These pads are extremely comfortable and I find that I melt into the mattress. The cool touch is a wonderful added benefit. I highly recommend this product; worth the money many times over.

I originally found this item at a department for a much higher price and had been dreaming about it since. After debating for a few months I found it on Overstock and had to buy! I'm so happy I did and wish I wouldnt have waited... I also bought a set of 1000 tc sheets from O and my bed is now sooooo luxurious. This product is high quality and at a great price. Oh, and as for the smell... I really only noticed it when I unpacked it but by the time I went to bed a few hours later it was gone. Goodnight & Sweet Dreams!

I am very pleased with this purchase. It is very comfortable and plush. It feels like you are sleeping on a cloud. I got the 3" foam topper and it is just right, any higher and my bed would be too high. This mattress topper gives you a better value since the mattress cover is also included. The cover is very plush as well and made of high quality material and fits my mattress just right. I wanted to order one for my mother, who has back and leg pains, but was diappointed that they were all sold out. I would definitely recommend this product.

Don't buy this if you want a soft piece of foam to ease the pain of shoulder and hip pressure points. This is not a soft piece of foam. It is VERY VERY firm and does not give much at all, it makes a FIRM bed. I am sure that it will help a sagging mattress, it is thick and FIRM! and HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY! The smell was bad but not as bad as some earlier reviews, it smells like musty mildew, but it is going away slowly. The cover is nice and thick but when I washed it to remove some of the odor, the batting in the quilted squares bunched up. It looks like we have left socks all in the bed under the bedspread because it is so lumpy. I really hate it and I have wasted money and the worst part is I can't take it off and even store it to sell at a tag sale because it is so huge and heavy and bulky. I would just move on if I were you and look for something else.

This is a very good product.First - let it out of the box to flatten out and air out.Second - leave it there about 2 daysThird - expect about a week of MILD smellFourth - relax and enjoy.I am a very hot natured person who would just as soon have the windows open in the winter if my wife would let me. I was VERY worried that this topper would create an overheating condition for me - wife might be comfy but I would sweat all night - NOT SO... I have not experienced any body heat retention at all and I have found this to be VERY comfortable - I sleep much better and sleep through the night.But it - I am sure you wont regret it.

This mattress topper solved my sleepless nights! Our mattress was so hard and uncomfortable, I would wake up with numb arms and toss and turn for what seemed like hours. The first night on this topper was heaven! There was a slight smell from the foam, but was gone by the second night. You cannot beat the price on this. Very nice quality on the cover and it has nice deep pockets that fit over the topper and our mattress with no problem. The only problem is now I don't want to get up for work!
