This product claimed to be a way to cool down sleeping conditions but I haven't noticed any difference from it and a normal memory foam topper. It's very comfortable and remembers when I wasn't there, but it is still as hot in my bed as ever. :-)

I already had a 2 inch memory foam on my bed for a couple of years that I thought would be just right for me, but was too squishy for me, hurt my back, and even in the winter felt too hot. As usual, this item was received quickly....It was rolled tightly in a seran-type wrap, and had the smell that needed to be aired out for a couple of days. I strung it over some chairs on the back porch and even turned a fan on it. After 48 hours, I put it on the bed and was delighted at the thickness and the coolness. I've had it for several weeks now and still feel the same. The foam itself has a less dense look and feel to it than the other memory foam I had, but it holds it's comfort even though it seems "thin". I like it.

I bought this memory foam because it was advertised as being cool but this was not the case. The consistency of the foam is good, not too soft and not too firm, but it does get hot as most memory foams. If you are looking for a memory foam that doesn't get hot, this is not the one. I was dissapointed as the advertisement is misleading if not false.

I own four of these. First purchased this item for my daughters at college. Dorm mattresses are notoriously uncomfortable and this memory foam pad really improved the comfort level. My daughters love it so much we purchased two more for their beds at home! Memory foam pads are not all created equally...this one is a very, very, good one! The density of the foam is excellent, it feels thicker than 1' though it isn't. The pad doesn't make you hot when you sleep, it is an improvement in every way to the existing mattresses. It's REALLY comfy, beware you won't want to get out of your bed! The only slight problem is that when you try to move it or transport it you need to make a nice and secure roll or else it has a tendency to tear. But no problems at all when in place on your bed! Just be careful when you go to move it out of the dorm or to store it.

I have had 3 memory foam mattress pads previous to this. This is the first that seems to sleep cool in that neither my wife nor I have had any complaints about it being too reflective of body heat. The 1 inch thickness makes just enough difference without being overly squishy. So far so good, we have yet to experience the summer months with it.

I was not impressed with the quality. There are a few memory foam toppers here at Overstock.com and I felt no difference between the cheaper one and more expensive one.

This is a true miracle product. No need to invest in a padded mattress when this is available. Instead of having to replace a whole mattress in a few years, you just have to replace the pad, and the pad holds up very well. I find that the 1" foam is all that's needed to make a hard mattress a soft nest, and it makes sleeping far more comfortable for my arthritic shoulders. Deeper foam might give more softness, but I find the 1" all I need to make a comfortable bed.

This is the 2nd topper I've ordered. First one for my bed, 2nd for guest bed. I have a Sleep # bed but this topper adds that extra layer of comfort. I don't wake with achey shoulder joints. I also take it with me when on vacation, if I stay somewhere 5 days or more. Works perfectly and it doesn't make me hot. Would defintely recommend!

Pretty good support for the 1 inch, don't get too hot on it, wished I bought the 2 inch.

It was what i expected. An inch short on each side and quite thin (well it is 1" like it says), but i bought it knowing that. I put this on top of a 2" latex topper and it is a nice combo. If you are looking to really improve your bed go with something 2" or thicker. 3" is a great thickness for memory foam. For my use and the cost it met my expectations completely. It does not sleep hot at all and is very comfy. I also recommend getting this if your in a pinch for money and maybe adding another on top of it later, a nice way to try it out on the cheap.

I love it. I added it to our pillowtop mattress for better spinal support. I suffer from constant back pain and arm numbness at night, and this topper has greatly improved my condition. It also, doesn't make you perspire like the other ones I tried over the past few years. I highly recommend it for a comfortable nights sleep without back pain.

Finally. some relief, I ordered the product inorder to improve my sleep quality. My current mattress is too firm and I wake up in the morning with a stiff back. I also love to read in bed and this mattress inhibsit me from staying in bed longer than I have too. The memory foam mattress pad has helped a great deal. My only complaint was that it did not come in original packing. It was sent in a box wrapped in plastic wrap!

Shipment timely, packaged well, slght odor initially but OK, feels like high quality memory foam. Our very expensive pillowtop bed was too firm. This reduced the pressure points & improved the lower back support.

Living in the "real" desert (Arizona) the mattress topper actually does feel cooler to sleep on. Our air-chamber bed needed a boost & the topper made it feel new again. Have already recommended it to friends & will continue to do so. Oh, and it arrived faster than I anticipated.

I purchased the king size for a queen bed because I was trying to fix a 7 year old sleep mattress bed. The 1 inch seems thick enough and did improve our sleep number bed. It does not get too warm. The pad was cut to fit the queen bed and the extra piece put in center of bed which has fixed the rolling to the middle.

This product works Great!, Does exactly what it says it will and makes the bed so much more comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially those women that are having hot flashes at night, this really helps to keep you cool and comfortable.

We have a comfortable bed, but I have a problem with my hip & if I rolled over in the night it would wake me up. This topper was the answer to my prayers! I'm glad I read other reviews because I was tempted to get a thicker one, but the 1" is just enough to add that extra cushion I needed. My husband says he's sleeping much better as well. We live in the South, so the "Mem-Cool" is a plus. I'm purchasing another one for our summer home.

So far so good. Have only slept on it about 2 weeks. My husband says it really helps his back and it doesn't make him sweat. I have very achy hip joints and some nights are better than others for me, but overall I think it has helped.

Goldilocks would love my bed now that I have the 'Mem-Cool' 1-inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper on it! It's just right...not too soft and squishy. I have a very firm bed that needed just a little 'cush'...this is just the thing.
